South Korea can not fight in International court. South Korean government knows Takeshima is not territory of SK. They can fool its own ppl, but they can't cheat laws.
This is the only reason why they don't show up in court.

As a matter of fact, there is no sword martial arts organization which is certified by Korean government. The 'HaiDongGumDo' is found by individual person not Korean official. Also the movie about 'GumDO' during Japan Expo was created by french guy, Not Korean. The post about the movie is his own creation.
There is another fact that there was single-edge and curve sword in Korea. If he really believe there is no single-edge sword in Korean, he didn't know about 'Gum' and 'Do'

Recently Korea have gained a reputation for claiming others' cultural invention as theirs. Total shameless agrandisement. That's one major diff between JPN & KOR, JPN borrow from others and never claim t hey invented it. They let others think so. :) JPN ppl were CHN mixed with the AInus. Look at Hanji. At least they gave attribution: Hanji = Han ppl's writing. Go [weqi in CHN] was invented by CHN, but JPN did not say they invented it. Others did. The blocked tile roof, etc

So, we have to remenber that Korean traditional system had been, never close to Japanese feudal system of samurais and its cultures, but very close to the imperial, confusiastic soceity of theri beaurocrats, and in fact they'd been very proud to be 'close' to China, and very far to Japan ( cause Koreans had very dispised Japanese samurais and its war-culture as 'barbaristic' and 'cruel'). Then, there'd been no possibilty that they had raised up a similar culture to our ancestal samurais at all!

After all, when we try to observe any culture, we should not stick to a strange tool or its actions or movement, but have to focus on the 'historical', 'social' factors that has raised up its cultures for a long time. In fact, Japanese culture is a very 'strange' and unique compared to the standard of Chinese confusiasim civilazation. its feudal system was rather, close to its oraganizaiton of Europe in the middle-age, but so much diffrent from the Imperial system of China and Korea.
