I wouldn't trust Paul's taste in food, people. This is the same guy who, after a long night of putting up posters and being hungry, took some of the remaining poster paste - a flour and water mixture - put it on a rusty saw blade, heated it up and ate it. Plus he says he has no sense of smell, which I suppose explains his incredible talent for eating disgusting things. The lesson here is don't try that bean and egg combo he's cooking up.

@phonest It's just a clip from the Clash movie "Hell W10" (written and directed by the late, great Joe Strummer), not an official video or anything. They used various bits and pieces of Clash songs throughout the movie and this scene happened to feature "Rudie Can't Fail."

wow I can't ever remember not listing to the clash I am 23 and my mom was playing them for me to get me to sleep when i was a child and to this day it's still my favorite thing to fall asleep to RIP Joe the future is unwritten.
On December 24 at 8:00 in the morning, a young 14 year old boy by the name of Scott Johnson was found dead. Doctors couldn't come up with the cause of his death. His mother checked his emails to see if she could figure out what happened. Turns out he was still signed into myspace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didn't repost a chain letter. If you don't repost this to six videos a girl with no face will kill you tonight. Sorry don't want to die
@tuddydunning so its still stands. I used to live in the area when i was younger, and remember them filming 'withnail', i watched the film a few years back, but had not seen this clash vid. is still a spit and sawdust type place??? i remeber it had a real strange smell as you walked over the bridge next to it cos they used to brew their own beer.
I'm 16 and I listen since i have only 10 years, dude this band just kick some asses. The people where i live say this is just noise, i say best band ever
When I began to raise Kundalini within my established personality, learning to live above what I found set up on the earth, I aspired for all I were worth. Others did try to drag me down, but I knew within I wore the Crown. Then I found that Crown acurse, as be the writer of poem with his verse, so imbued I myself from Crown to toe for others, health, wealth not in length of days but in rye ting that stays, inner way which more than pays.
I'm 108 years old, and even though I'm watching a video of a relatively obscure song of theirs, which might imply that I enjoy their music, I don't think the Clash are very good! The music being played on the radio today is much better than any music that came before it!
You're never too young to love The Clash. Both my kids love their music and they are 3 and 11. I loved them most of my life and would rather my kids listen to music with a message, real talent, and historic influence in the course of the music industry. Yea...Fans for life, just like momma!
@funkyjuice89 - I started listening to the Clash when I was 11 and then Joe died about a month later, when I was just becoming a fan. That will piss me off for the rest of my life!
@funkyjuice89 I'm 21 as well it's so awesome that so many yungstars like us can still connect with The Clash. I had the pleasure of watching Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros, but this is the first song off London Calling I ever fell in love with when I was a wee lad.
@GoReds10FuckOff Strummer would've said that it's said that so many young people still can connect with the terrible society and the problems the Clash are singing about :>
Who cares about the age, Strummer and Jones know that's some fucking bollocks. .
They didn't see age or color, enjoy what you want , the first punk wave's intentions were to be rebellious to society, doesn't matter what age you are. There aren't lot of kids your age who love The Clash . If you love them just enjoy it, your age doesn't grant you special treatments.
One of the amazing things about the Clash- they could play any type of music they wanted. And they did it beautifully.
Even more, they gave so many great songs in such a brief period of time. They never feel dated. The band is as relevant today as they were in the 70s & early 80s.
No way. right at the end, the frog and ferkin pub. i used to go past that every day to school. it had a well funny smell of hops outside, and all the old west indies boys would sit outsde playing backgammon and dominoes in the summer. those were the days. any one know if it still stands. i live in devon now.
This song has fucking everything that makes a song good, every part is rhythmically catchy, and its varied, and it all comes together in a perfect package. great song.
@theillestkids the `drinking brew for b/fast` is obviously refering to `special brew` a rather potent lager the doctor ` is a reggae artist whose other name i cant recall ,but basically its about cool west indian guys hanging around portabella market (which they get to on the 19 bus in the days before oyster cards)have a skyjuice and enjoy
@fede018 And your worst epic fail was that your mom walked past the abortion clinic and instead spent that cash on liquor instead of the glue that she was used to huffing. Why would you say rudie is a epic fail unless you did not like the song? But then again you probably don't know the meaning of either epic or fail so you can be forgiven for that. BTW green day still and always has been a total epic fail!
@hydromorphineIV lol i agree and think thats funny as hell but green day was good for the music they produced and they were pretyy decently talented sooo please stop hatin and appreciate all music whether it appeals to you or not
I 1st only loved this song when I seen it at the end of Rude Boy, when you see the shambles that 70s Britain was and u see Thatcher the cunt entering 10 Downing st, the song just seemed to fit it for some reason.
Let the rest of the world listen to their Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Miley Cyrus, and what ever drug infested/ S.T.D. spreading noise merchant that is popular now days. The rest of us will listen to real, talented and addictive music like this !
