i lived the 70's , the cars were big and boxy looking (square) and the music was pretty low toned . not a lot of Bass at all . Disco was pretty exciting as the girls wore some really provocative outfits . i miss them days only because i'm getting older .

I have never really liked the 70's... 60's, 80's, 90's and those pre-war times were better. But I think Rock 'n Roll and disco were a lot better in 70's. Also cars were slightly better. Still this makes me sad... only 40 years and this world have changed so much. Would be great to experience 70's-90's and live that loop forever. 70's only because it was like before 80's and melted to 80's, there wasn't really difference between 1979-1980 you know. I have experienced late 90's though :)

@Mossman1960 I know just what you mean Mossman. I too was 10 in 1970 and miss those years so much. When I hear these classics it sends shivers down my spine. Sometimes, if I listen to this great music and recall some memories, I am back to a young lad again. Then the music stops, I open my eyes and I am back in these horrible times again including wrinkles and back pains.

Thank you so much for this!! I had never heard the song by the Fantastics ("Something Old, Something New") before, and it is wonderful.  It reached #102 in 1971 on the Billboard chart, which is a travesty that it didn't go any higher.

if you remember the 70's, there is a movie out that starred david cassidy. it's called "spirit of the 70's". hard to find though. all about that era, everthing from pop rocks to pinto cars. cute movie!
