Terrific song ! OPN - Asha classic. Their OPN and Asha's love for each other shows in this song. Sharmila is apt to the scene. Manoj Kumar's subdued performance is perfect. THANKS skz7691
@pikluable that's unnecessary coment here where there is no rajendrakumar..and what does that mean...poor man's dilipkumar?that's really silly childish comment.
I don't know why these losers are arguing with bygone actors and missing out the beautiful Sharmila in the context of this beautiful voice by Asha orchestrated by the great OPN.
I agree with u. Ppl keep copying these actors and make a comedy out of these fine sophisticated actors. Definitely way above " Zara Zara touch me" gen. We have been enjoying these perormances for over 6 decades and these proves they have stood the test of time. Lets salute these guys.
Another boring actor from by gone era ... Manoj Kumar... I still could not figure out how he become actor in the movies. But then again world was passing through an innocent age. So even boring and dull screwball(s) can make career out of it!
See how controlled the use of the musical insturments.....there is every scope to go "loud".....it is the self restrain that makes the song so nice inspite of wide use of all those loud western instruments....these days think it is to be loud is music, not the melody !

the way Asha sings perfectly synchronises with the joyous abandon of Sharmila

The only thing i don't like about this song is Manojkumar! Shammi, Joy or even Biswajit would have been better.
