Did he not shout "Everybody" in the hope that they would sing along to the chorous? But all he got back was silence! I hated playing at that place!

It was King of the Road!!!!! I remember now! Have you got the track where he screams "Yo Drummonds, get the f*ck up!"...he was trying to be like Fred Durst but it didn't quite work out that way! :o)

There were 2 'tumbleweed incidents' at the Newtown club one was 'king of the road' & the other was the night when every time Jon sang a song there was loud applause followed by a dead silence after every song Steve sang. I think he must have upset them at some point.
I've got a recording of us playing 'king of the road' I can upload if you like!

Probably because he stormed out that one night when Jon told him that his mate had booked us for his birthday at "the club"...for a fee of £100! Do you remember the guy? He was saving up our fee via the "beautiful woman". He bought my old drumkit - the one that caught fire whilst I was having a ciggi! Yeah lets hear king of the Road (club).

yes you can - just overdub it for 2 minutes with Jon saying "iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii"...Try and edit Wipeout to 30 seconds. :o)

Bloody excellent, apart from the shit drum solo at the end...I think you should edit that out! :o)

I can't do that the drum solo is the best bit!
I've got a live version of 'Wipe Out' from 2001 with a 4 minute drum solo, I'll see if I can upload it in the next day or two.
