Hey Marc, is there a proper way to store cologne? I got a smallish bottle of RL Polo Blue in September and put in my glove box of my car in case I wanted to put some on and was out of the house, I left it in the glove box day and night until recently when I wanted to try some on and when I used it all get is an overpowering smell of alcohol, a very synthetic smell, is it harmful to keep cologne in cold/hot areas for too long?

@SethBroNasty With a fragrance shelf life of 3 to 5 years if stored in a cool and dark environment, you must be concerned a bit about spoilage of your original acquisitions of your extremely large collection. Given that light degrades cologne & eau de toilette over time, designers should use opaque bottles like "Tabac Original" by Mäurer & Wirtz to keep the light out as shown in my Youtube review of this old-school German cologne.

i might get the a men chilli, i really like it, pure malt etc are way too pricey and hard to find over here.

I don't see "Boss Bottled Night" in the Designer Fragrance Haul. You mentioned it a while ago so I am guessing you already own it and that it is still in the testing & evaluation phase.

BTW, you must have fun at Canada Customs at the airport with all these purchases; unless you are under the $700 duty-free limit.

HWSWW & Potion (EDT) from DSquared2 are my recent purchase too and I love both..the only shortcoming is the longevity is a little below average (4-5 hrs)..I'm thinking of trying the perfume oil for Potion..

hey Marc, regarding A*Men TOF, you nailed it. Those were my exact same impressions when I first smelt it as well. A*Men TOF = Pure Coffee + Spicy Chili Paste. I like it though, and I ended up buying a bottle.

how come you haven't bought Boss Bottled Night ? have you smelled it? if so, would you recommend it? I have about 60 fragrances, not completely a collector yet.. Nice haul Mark!

I tried silver wind wood last night for the first time. Definitely got incense and woods, a favorite combo for me. Really look forward to delving into it more. Wearing RMW today, really like that one too. I don't like the sweet notes in the original though (nauseating). Can't wait to try Potion.

@konradallan IMO it`s at a 9 out of 10, the past few months people have been on the facebook groups buying 3-4 bottles of this stuff like it`s going out of style. Good maybe great but nothing I would buy a backup bottle of , and certainly not worth this hooplah at the moment .
