You are an insensitive fucker. He was suffering insomnia. Anyone who has ever suffered insomnia knows that it's unbearable. He went to different doctors for medication. It was only half his fault. He wasn't a scientific genius, how would he have known not to take two types of pill together? Seriously, get some respect.

The idiot took an incredible array of pills wide ranging at once, 2 types of opiates and 3 types of benzos, if he had any common sense he would of known not to mix pills like that.. Spoiled celebs ruin what little relief people can get by ODing on stuff that common sense should tell you not to. He was a fine actor but a really ignorant and stupid person. I always research any pills i get and he should have also. He played a heroin addict in a movie, he should know more about drugs than that.

I've gone thru hell on ambien (called stilnox here is OZ) was on it 4 8 yrs, taking up to a pack a day. Now I'm on valium to come down from the ambien (you can't just stop taking it) Ambien made me so addicted and sick, in and out of hospitals colonoscopy, endoscopy, tests. BAD stomach pains. My (ex) doctor got me addicted he said they were fine to take in the beginning ( I was 17) It's ruined my life. DON'T TAKE IT!

I ended up shaking the ambien. The way I did it I wouldn't recommend though. I drank every night for about 4 nights. I still cant sleep as much as I used to with it but maybe I just have to live with it.

Ambien is actually qutite dangerous. I have found myself addicted as in needing it every night and needing it more and more. If I dont have it I tend to go insane. Wonder if thats why ihe was so great as the joker. If you dont believe me on the insane side effects look it up yourself.

I can go one night without taking it but anything more and I cant tolerate it. I will have terrible nightmares and will not sleep well because of it. Doctors really need to stop lying to their patients. Non addictive medication my ass. I will get shakes, sweats, and all kinds of other fun things if I stop taking it.

I'm right there with you. It's been 9 months and I haven't been able to watch a single one of his movies yet. I cry every time I see a video of him. Still seems unreal. I wish I could do something to undo it. Crazy as that makes me sound, but he was just too wonderful to die.

I absolutely cried my eyes out when I found out he was dead, even now I cry after I've watched any of his films, I wish I'd got to see him - at a premier or something, that just upsets me even more, I'm going to miss him. :(
