  • @zimbag Sure is :D

  • i liked it because micheal bay had alot of good shots in it also i grew up with transformers so thats why i also like it and he had alot of action but the beganing was stupid and boaring so i agree with you

  • @jigga979 ok :) although funnily enough most Transformers cartoon fans think the film is rubbish because the characters are cardboard cut-outs in the movies and they are not loyal to the original cartoon. Glad you agree with me about the beginning though :)

  • @TheScriptTV yea

  • I DO NOT CARE WHAT YOU SAY! DOTM WAS MINDBLOWINGLY AWESOME! IT WAS EPIC X CHUCK NORRIS!

  • @undercoverdecepticon You are entitled to your own opinion :)

  • @SuperScotty97 Sorry, it's just the way you say 'haters gonna hate', reminded me of all the annoying teenagers who slag off people who don't like Justin Bieber's music :P That phrase really got on my nerves, and I don't aim to spread/enforce hatred on the 2nd & 3rd Transformers movies, but whether you like them or not they are simply trashy, terrible films :)

  • @SuperScotty97 I'm not a hater though, I liked the 1st, but as films the 2nd & 3rd are dreadful. They are more of an 'industrial point' than movies :)

  • i think that tf 2 wasen't that bad i actually liked it

but i diden't like the humor

  • @xXDG2starscreamXx Thanks for sharing your opinion :)

  • @SuperScotty97 To be fair, everyone is entitled to their opinion. What is great about film reviews is that if someone truly likes/dislikes a film, they are correct in their own right. There is no right/wrong. However, there is no denying that as a film, in the true sense of filmmaking, Transformers 3 is a terrible one. You might find it entertaining (God knows how), but it is not a good 'film'. :) I like the first, but Bay messed up the last 2

  • @SuperScotty97 what was brilliant about it, that meering got more screen time then the autobots? or that optimus prime was a retarded homocidal bitch?

  • I agree with you on every aspect except the score. I think Jablonsky did an exceptional job except for one track: It's Our Fight, which was an obvious copy of Zack Hemsey's Mind Heist.

  • @99JediDrew Thanks for sharing your view, glad you agree with me :)

  • even though i think its my most hated film, reviewers still give snotty reasons as to why they hated it such as, all it was was giant robots fighting,

honestly i dont have a problem with giant robots fighting, but everything else was shit

  • @SullyMediaProduction Fair enough :)

  • It was shit

  • @SullyMediaProduction I agree :D

  • In Vegas for a couple of nights passing through on holiday and there was nothing for me to do being 18, so went to see it with my family. $44 we payed all together. Hmmm. It was okay. The final sequence in Chicago was pretty stunning but the rest - nothing special. I know what you mean about the music as well. I was dying for it to crank up a notch but it just sort of sat there and made the action seem boring. Frances McDormand = awesome. Shia = <3. Megan Fox replacement worst actress ever?

  • @rstudiosfilms Well the final sequence could have been stunning if Michael Bay actually directed it properly ;) Thanks for the comment Rob :D

  • what's the point of overanalyzing transformers 3? it sucked. why would you make a 14 minute video review of exactly why it sucked? and don't spend so much time worrying about trolls.. if you didn't have all of the parts focused on beating potential arguments to the punchline, the video would be half as long and more focused.

  • @NappyHeadedHorse Hi, thanks for the advice (although I don't review movies much, so am a bit of an amateur). Remember I was zapped of energy from the film & so it was inevitable that I would ramble :P i also wanted to try to create a balance so that viewers could understand where I am coming from :)

  • @addictedtomypills Ever get bored of trolling? :) Jokes on you, that shirt is 'Bench'. I've just owned a troll, happy days! :D

  • "The Godfather is a good decent mafia thriller" Dear God thanks for your insight. its not even a thriller!

  • @nickrowntree Actually, if you look on IMDb it is classed under the 'thriller' genre :) It's a crime/drama/thriller

  • It's a bit waffling. Could you focus a bit more on the film in question?

  • @samtheman152009 Yeah, I was a bit tired and wanted to ensure that people wouldn't troll saying: 'oh you are probably one of these guys who doesn't like action films, only Oscar movies like The King's Speech'. So I just wanted to give people an idea of where I am coming from :)

Also, they are pretty much the only points I wanted to cover about the film... T3 didn't have that much content to talk about. Thanks for your comment anyway, & I take what you said on board! :)

  • @TheScriptTV Glad you're a fan of the Good Doctor, though.

  • @samtheman152009 Yes, although I don't always agree with him, Mark Kermode does back up his opinion very well so that I can see why he takes that certain perspective :)

  • @TheScriptTV I think he generally gives too much leeway to bad films simply because they fulfill genre expectations. Oh, and say hi to Jason Isaacs if you see him.

  • isnt it darkside?

  • @jimfox123sse Nope, Dark of the Moon :)

  • @theparabola1234 I was expecting some trolling... You sad, sad person :D

  • @2tone459 Well it's not almost 4 hours long, it's almost 3 hours long... It might feel like 4 hours but it isn't :P

  • its almost 4 hours long and, 3 hours of it is about a hero wannabe's fucking insecurity... fuckin fanboys just wont accept that some people hate that movie...

  • There are some points that I will agree on with you, such as that all the action is at the end, the music is repetitive and the script had no effort put into it, but i still enjoyed it, i would have rated it about 6 out of ten. If there is a 4th movie, I would love to see it be directed by Christopher Nolan, I think it would be really interesting to see how that movie would turn out.

  • @DigitalBatman Fair points raised here :) If a friend told me they thought the film was 6/10 I would accept that, but no higher. 6 (in my ratings) means watchable, but not necessarily good... 7 means good :)

  • Furthermore, I was really only displeased with the fact that there was almost no character development for new characters, except for Sentinel Prime, but huge characters like Megatron and Starscream barely got screen time.

Something the film really did for me though, was catch me off guard. The death of multiple characters I personally liked that came out of nowhere really shocked me. The plot did jump around alot, but it was a nice movie, nothing mind-blowing and spectacular, but I'd buy it.

  • @narutozrasengan Oh and thank you also for giving me an in-detail response on why you liked the movie :)

  • First off, I don't get why everyone and their grandmother says that the 2nd film was terrible. I honestly loved it, thought the humor was corny, but not as appalling as people make it out to be. The plot was easy enough to follow and both the events in that film and the first were what led up to the plot of the 3rd film. Which I do agree was pretty diluted, considering I still have no idea who Shockwave is, and many major characters just randomly died in the crossfire, which was disappointing.

  • @narutozrasengan Listen to Mark Kermode's review of the 2nd film, then you might understand why people hated it (the link is at the end of my video in an annotation) - Also bare in mind Bay admitted it was crap and Shia kinda disowned it :)

  • One, the movie was way too long, and even fanboys like myself were getting irritated. Two, there are just so many plot holes in the story that it just makes my head hurt thinking about it! Three, the goofy comedy just made me so disapointed with micheal bay, because he promised us that there would be less of that, but he lied. Although, the russian cafe scene actually made me laugh because i could relate to it. . .

  • @balder101dash Thanks for sharing your views :) I would personally agree with you

  • Unfortunately, i will have to agree with what you said, because i was really looking forward to the film (me being a huge fan boy of the Transformers universe). I absolutely hated the second film, and the first time i saw Transformers 3, i THOUGHT it was the best in the series, but after seeing it a second time, i realised the many faults that it had.

  • Is it just me or are all these Transformers sequels just remakes of the first? Big conspiracy revolving around something that happened in the past involving Autobots/Decepticons, then there's some magical item everyone's after before we end with a massive battle.

  • @McSuperfly101 I guess so :)

  • @jamesmcallister10089 It just popped up in my head :P

And Goodfellas is better than Casino in my opinion :) Has so much more going for it

  • haha I loved the "pickles" metaphor! But surely the 10/10 should go to Casino over Goodfellas?

  • Decent review.. I like how you didn't just slag it off :-)
