This movie was actually pretty good ... People are just bashing it cuz 1. They liked the original show 2. They have lame ass taste in movies....... If ya wanna stop shitty movies being made stop watching and supporting the retards that make the scary movie series and epic movie also meet the Spartans ..... Those movies are lame as fuck. But stupid people still go watchem and so they keep makin em. I'm just sayin "RWJ"

It looks like a DVD movie to me as well, from the previews. I very much enjoyed the original series, the effects were very cool for Saturday morning television at the time. I'm sure Will Ferrell makes the movie fun, but, again, I'll wait for the DVD. :)

oh, mrhollick....any movie with will ferrell is good to me! must be my child brain!! the original land of the lost was something i watched as a child. i was fortunate enough to know actor walker edminston who was in the series and played enik. a very talented man now gone from the old days of hollywood. he spoke a few years back to me about the movie possibly being made. wish he had lived to see this movie..john daniel
