Oh, man. I remember doing this mission on Realistic with the Shifter mod. There was nothing like laying out 15+ of these guys with the blackjack. Once you get ballistic protection to level 4 and environmental resistance to level 4 with ballistic armor, you're pretty much indestructible. I probably soaked up hundreds of bullets, scarcely having to heal for the entire fight. Damn if it wasn't still intense.

this guy is playing on Medium, you would take far more damage from all those bullets on Realistic (even with Ballistic Armor maxed out)

I wouldn't be using tactics like this if I was playing seriously, and while I wasn't using god mode, I did use cheats to get so many maxed-out augmentations.

I made this video for fun, not to prove something.

Augmentations, you can get them from special augmentation canisters. You find the first one at the top of The Statue of Liberty. You need to use a medical bot to install them.

There are more types of augmentations than there are slots to fit them, so you often have to choose one or the other. For example, two augmentations affect the legs, "Run Silent" and "Speed Enhancement", I'm using the latter here which is why I can jump so high.

@MattyDienhoff It took me from when i started playing this game when I was 6 to all the way when I first beat this game back in 2008 (i stopped playing it for a while) to figure out I could have more than one augmentation, lol...still I never use augs...idk why

Oh and what is the spy droid aug even for? I saw u using it when the dudes were already trying to kill u right in front of you. It's a cool feature, but it isn't very useful...

Like you say, it's a cool feature but not very useful. The spy droid may be the least useful aug.

My favourite combination is Stealth Run, to reduce movement noise, Cloak, to make you invisible to organics, and Power Recirculator, to make it practical to use both for more than half a minute. Those combined allows you to literally run around invisible to everything but bots and cameras. Sneaky. :D

I once wrote a guide to the augmentations, google "StrategyWiki Deus Ex Augmentations" to find it.

@MattyDienhoff Awesome :D since I'm a noob, the only time i ever ran around invisible was when i used cheats. I was in fly mode using the cloak aug and I was spawnmassing plant1 all over their heads, lol. i think the best augs are synthetic heart since that one doesn't even need to be upgraded and it is useful for making all your augs work better, along with cloak and radar transparency (so even the cameras/turrets/bots can't see you) but they all take up the torso slot. i'll read the wiiki!

Oh, and that wasn't spy droid I was using, it was targeting. At higher levels it shows a picture in picture display of the target. It also increases accuracy which is why I was using it.

If I recall correctly, the default keybindings for the laser sight and scope are left and right bracket ([ and ]). Of course, your currently equipped weapon has to have a scope or laser sight attached first, to do that, drag and drop the weapon mod onto the weapon you want to modify in the inventory.

As far as I remember, the augs in one canister were all for the same slot. So if the slot is already in use, it wouldn't be possible to install the other aug(s) as well.

But it's been a long time since I played Deus Ex, so I could be wrong...

thats the fun bu killing them as good as possible and not getting shot! I never use my biomods or medkits, they are no need to me anymore :) lol the first 40 - 50 times i played the game i reloaded every time i wasted a single shot, or got shot even a tiny bit!
