For those with...voluptious, bountiful, HEALTHY sizes (myself included)...I'd say it could work, but with the skirt portion a little longer, the bunches gathered a little lower and smaller, but not so much as to just make it trim, but make it an actual length of the skirt...say four or five inches?
I enjoy sculpturing and I immediately feel in love with her sense of style. I love how the folds of the fabric plays with your eyes and how the fabric moves when it is worn.
Love the ruffles on the yellow dress, and love the idea of the collection being on the border of ready-to-wear and haute couture. An inspiring video on how to be hardworking, no matter what your passion may be.
she won project runway season 5 right? it's so crazy to see her still with etsy (at least that's what it seems since this is on the etsy channel) but win a competition like that.
I liked this video only because they haven't invented a love button yet. As an aspiring designer I would love to hear from someone how they got to the point in their career where they get to be in NYC fashion week. Thanks Etsy.
@nagaempress Leanne's designs have always and will always be made for stick figures. If a woman with curves wore her petal dresses they'd feel like a marshmellow.
@PinkWeeds I have curves (40, 30, 41) And I would LOVE to wear that dress. The moment I saw it my jaw dropped. Theout maybe the emotion of the dress is what I like about it. I love clothes that are flouncy, poofy, and make a statement- even if I'm not a smaller framed woman.
@PinkWeeds Don't trash the woman because the world has a warped idea that fashion is only for the anorexic or exercise-addicted freaks. So are you saying that you wouldn't wear it because a woman with curves could not possibly look good in it? The only people you have to please are: yourself, your mate, or someone whose opinion matters to you.Even then, who in hell cares? Self worth layered with self esteem looks good on everyone.
@studioswift6 I didn't trash the woman. You on the other hand have no problem going around stuffing your ideals down other people's throughts. I expressed an honest opinion that most women would agree with. You got a problem with it- tough.
omg loved her in project runway
