@happygleason If you go to Tom Brennan's Badfinger page he has a comprehensive section on the group's tours. Joey has a history of exaggeration so you shouldn't trouble yourself with his claims.

Tommy wasn't the only one suspicious of Polley the bastard - Joey Molland was too. But Peter believed in the guy unquestionably till almost the end, to his ruin. Pete sadly was so stubborn he got into arguments with Joey - Joey left the band for a time...but Joey was right about Polley. Bottom line.

joey molland claims they were playing 10,000 seaters 100 or more nights a year.

even at 3$ a ticket thats 3 million dollars a year.

@happygleason Badfinger did not play that many gigs like that. Go to the badfingerlibrary. Joeys spouts and blabs a lot of off-the-cuff dramatic nonsense. Read the book for credible info.

@Kristenbillick excuse me, but I was at a lot of the shows, and while maybe not 10,000 seaters all of the time, most of the venues I saw them at held 5000 or so. And don't forget they did quite a few festivals...

Enough of the bashing of Joey. Very easy to do so since he is the last bloke standing with the exception of Griffiths and Bob Jackson.

Polley meant well?????? bill collins states he believes polley meant well! Unf***in' believable. Even in that time, after Pete and Tom are gone, collins still believes this. Pathetic. The only true thing he said so far was, he himself was no businessman. Looks to me that polley bought collins.
