Wow listening to the both of them the Jools Holland version is completeley different and much better. With the funky guitar rifts and drum kit it sounds like a proper song rather than a tacky rap song which is all that the album version is.........
This version is better than the album version as it has the inclusion of a drum kit at 1:18! Wish I could buy this version as the original sounds s*** in comparison. Why oh why do they have different versions....................
Love it when he swears at 2:55, Peter Gabriel looks away disapprovingly, probably looking over towards Jools thinking "are you gonna let him away with that"
@Ben0Saur If he's on TV surely I am supposed to use my eyes? My ears tell me he often seems to be singing flat when he tries singing, that his lyrics are banal and predictable tales of everyday sarf lundun life masquerading as poetry, and that his 'backing band ' ( to make it clear to you) are making him look good. I liked the 'tune' but having heard the rest of the mini album, this is the only decent track on it. LKJ was a poet, Ghost ain't.
Live he's absolutely awesome. A class act. Followed his career so far, and as a Photographer I was lucky to photograph him when he came to Bedford recently...
Google "GrahamPhotographer Ghostpoet" to see the shots...
@guyfromnewcastle Seen him supporting METRONOMY a while back at the O2. He was using a microphone he bought at the Newcastle branch of Cash Converters a few years previously. Great album...listen loud!
still gives me goosebumps

@MannaKitty Luckily, the quality of his music isn't dependent on you taking him seriously.
