I have little sympathy for pet stores. They deal in and sell animals from puppy mills. Puppy mills are hideous places - factories that breed and abuse animals for profit. The American Humane Society urges people not to buy animals from pet stores. Doing so supports an industry that should be shut down.

well i bought one from a pet store, so what!!! if your saying dont get one from the pet store, well aint your putting the puppies in the pet store lifes at risk of not finding a home, i breed pit bulls for purpose of helping people and making kids happy, i say buy from any where unless they place is horrible!! and its a bad puppy mill, if the puppy mill is clean, parents are healthy, all dogs of food and water than buy from there!

I know there is a shortage of dogs in the world for this to be such a big deal. That would be like getting pissed off about someone taking a cat. There are plenty of them to go around for everyone. Also, anybody who would pay that much for a dog, cat, or bird is fucking retarded. If the consumers would stop buying these animals at these ridiculous prices then they would stop charging this much for them.

I blame the shop owner/workers for this. I didn't see any employees around in the video. When I go to the pet shop, employees are always greeting and pressuring me to buy (I know, it's their job). Some people will always try and find ways to acquirer items without paying. It's the store that needs to oversee that so it doesn't.
