  • Woahh.. Wtf.

  • 3:25 Midna: You shouldn't have done that...

  • cant you use the map glitch?

  • ive stopped the wii from reading the disk (no, i didnt leave the disk out of the console) and nothing happened. did nintendo fix it or something???

  • midna: hey, do you smell anything funny?

    link: ya, my gross butt

    (link is deformed at 2:16)

  • I've managed to get Sonic Colors to halt sound effects for a few seconds until the "insert disc" screen pops up, and Super Paper Mario to freeze, but nothing much else.Have you had any luck doing this with any other games, or only on Zelda: TP?

  • @robotortoise Really only Twilight Princess and to a limited extent, Brawl. I tried doing it on Final Fantasy XII for the PS2, but that crashed the game.

  • @mzxrules Update: I tried doing it with many more games, and most Wii games end up displaying the "insert disc" message after about three seconds, because the pre-rendered music only streams in chunks, rather than MIDI music, which streams into the game's RAM at one time. Also, most Wii games nowadays use "levels", rather than loading points on a seamless environment, and load the entire level into RAM at once.

  • @robotortoise I was able to do this with Windwaker.

  • @TheCorruptPlague Yeah, I know a few gamecube games work, too. I have a Wii, so the disc drive is too slow to work this glitch(es). Maybe if there was a way to make a "dummy" disc, one that fools the system into thinking the correct game disc is inserted, we could stream even MORE games... But to do that such a disc would have to reproduce the disc name stored in RAM and temporarily copy that name to the disc. Hey, if someone can figure out how to get a early Master Sword...

  • I wish more games had "heart attack" as an enemy

  • =O You left Epona on the burning bridge.... oh well... lol bbq time

  • haha random death

  • hahahahahahahahahaahahaha

  • @mzxrules I think it killed you at the end because it knew you shouldn't be there by then :L

so yeah, why don't you teach people to play the game the RIGHT way, instead of using glitches to get ahead of the whole game?

  • so this is like cartridge tilting.

  • @Kevin7111000 In a way yes. The only difference is that you won't risk frying your system if you do it wrong.

  • I have the gamecube version, and I use the gamecube for it, and it freeze-loads when I try to shoot for out of bounds, cause 1st of all, I'm not entirely sure I did this correctly. What I'm trying to do is get to the forest temple early, and so far, I can't get epona out of bounds. XD

When I can get that, the rest is easy to do(yay for the map break glitch when you can warp!!! :D). It's just the CD streaming that I can't work out... >.<

  • @60namrruC you can't CD-Stream, then try and ride epona through a tunnel or something to get out of bounds in Faron Woods. However Early Forest Temple with CD-Streaming is possible.

I'm not 100% sure I'm right on this, but what you do is you try to CD-Stream after coming out of the house of the dude who gives you the lantern. Then while CD-Streaming, you ride Epona OoB somehow to a spot that would be inside the boundaries of the map that leads to the Forest Temple or Sacred Grove.

  • @mzxrules Thats the thing. Like, I keep trying that, and I know I got the disc to stop reading, so I know I'm streaming. But when I try to go OoB from the current area, it freeze loads. This is getting really annoying, cause it keeps loading the map sections I DON'T want to load...How frustrating was it when you first tried CD streaming?

  • @60namrruC Well, I discovered CD-Streaming in the first place through sheer dumb luck, so it wasn't that frustrating to me. However, I thought it was impossible to use CD-Streaming to get OoB in Faron woods, because of how going through a loading zone freezes the game like that.

Are you trying to use Sammature's Early Forest Temple technique or what?

  • @mzxrules I am. :)

  • ok it wont work everywhere i go the wii starts to spin it even if its a bird flying by or somthing and i preordered the game when it first came out i have the original version and it never works wtf do i do

  • D: the glitch killed Link

  • So, I just put another game in the system after I inject it?

  • So in other words....I can only do this playing it on the Gamecube. Which I could do...I just didnt want to hook it up again....I mean wtf is the point in this if I am playing it on gamecube I might as well use codes since I got my action replay...I wanted to do this without codes...

  • Oh and I cant use the home button because I can only play my gamecube games in the backup launcher, my Wii doesnt play GC games anymore...so Im playing it through backup launcher....not sure if that helps

  • Is there a reason why it wont work for me???...Im trying to do it as a wolf, I havent glitched the game at all, Im not using codes or anything, I am playing the gamecube version ON the Wii it self...I eject the disc and wait....and the error about putting the disc back in works except eveytthing is loaded perfectly....when I dont want it too...is this only workable as human form?

  • @1Sandwitch1 The thing is, if you simply remove the disc, you'll almost instantly get a disc error if the game tries to load anything. You'll need to have the game disk or a dummy disk in the system.

Also, because you're playing the GameCube version on the Wii, you'll only be able to keep the area unloaded for about 10 seconds.

  • what the fk do i have to do to cd-stream ??

  • @ownagedeath4 try reading the description?

  • 2:13

Midna: "...Hey, do you smell anything funny?"

    Link: "JKGJHKFHGLKFHKGHFKFGDKFHDFK"

  • i dont understand how to do it with the GC version on the wii

  • i was wondering could you use the CD streaming glitch to kinda skip the wolf thing and run through the game in Links farm clothing?

  • um if u do this with a gc version. do u take the disc out, just stop make it stop spinning with ur hands, or open and close the lid?

  • If you want to stop the game from loading the next area, keep opening and closing the lid every 10 seconds or so. But if you have the GCN version on the Wii, the only way you can do this trick is by ejecting the disc, and putting in a different one temporarily. Don't stop the disk spinning (expecially with your hands)

  • @mzxrules i did that once (putting in a diff game)and it loaded mario on legend of zelda!

  • @geno679 What Mario game did you put in?

  • @mzxrules i put in super mario galaxy and it made link jump instead of rolling.may have just been a glitch though cause that was the only thing that happened.

  • lmao at 2:10 hahaha

  • Does this glitch work with the wii but a gamecube disc in it? Because I have it for the gamecube but I use my wii to play it with. So will it work and yes I read the description but since I have the gc version just wandering if it would work on the wii witha gc version.

  • It does, but you're incredibly limited to what you can do.

What I mean by that is that you can stop the game from loading areas indefinitely if you have the gamecube version with the gamecube or wii version with the wii.

  • Oh I have a wii but twilight princes is for gc. So it still works right? But it is hard for me to those glitches hun.

  • Still works, not hard to do, but limited in what you can do.

  • Oh thanks honey bunny preciate it. ;p

  • You remove the game disk? And after you inserate the game disk to do that...

  • ROFL! that's funny

  • so, how exactly did you do this?

  • read the description?

  • will it work with wii?

  • read the description?

  • i did, and i tried it, nothing really happened...OH, i just tried again, it worked this time, lol never mind, thanks

  • I tried this once but some how I ended up falling straight down after floating on epona.

  • That's because you probably didn't make sure you didn't start in kakariko gorge, which causes you to automatically sink into an endless pit.

You have to make sure on the minimap that your on a path map, in order to not sink.

  • Who says I was anywhere near kakariko gorge...?

  • what if you dont stop it from spinning what happends

  • what happens... when the normal game disc doesn't stop spinning...

  • Twilight Princess was on the Gamecube? O_O

  • Of course it is. You didn't know this?

Well, if you didn't know that, then you wouldn't know that the Wii version is mirrored image of what he game was suppose to look like.

  • Nah, I didn't know that. xD

Well, then, that's good news for me. :D

  • Wasn't TP the last GC game ever made? I have it for the Wii but before I had my Wii I rented it for the GC

  • No. Madden 08 is supposively the last GC game ever made.

  • Does this work on a gamecube-cd in a wii console? And if it does, how do you do it?

  • It does, but you can do far more stuff with Cd-Streaming if you didn't have a gamecube-Cd wii console combo.

Just hit eject, take out the game, swap in a new CD, and there you go. Now, when the console calls for something to be read off the disc, you'll have only a few seconds until the black screen pops up and asks for your TP game. Just stick it back in, and everything will run normally.

  • Hm, i see... Thanks then :) I´ll try it out as soon as i can. But this wont cause any trouble with my console or the cd, right?

  • what is cd steaming? how do u do it? does it work for gcn i have a wii but only gcn tp

  • Did you not read the comments?

  • i did i jsut dont no if it works with a gcn on wii. ok so i have tp for gcn buti have a wii that i play it in what do i do? (and also i do have a gc to)

  • Oh. Somebody asked that a while ago actually.

Reply:"Yes, but you're a lot more limited as to what you can do with CD-Streaming. You can put in Twilight Princess, play to a part where you want to CD-Stream, and put in a different game and all, (The way I first discovered how to do it), but you're limited to only a few seconds of play before you have to put the game back into the system. That pretty much means that you can't do a lot of cool stuff, like getting into the Forest Temple way early."

  • oh well i was thinking about trading in my gcn for wii or ill just buy the wii version so i can also get the homebrew channel :)

  • 2:03 was a fuckn epic moment.

  • Umm, mzxrules? Since anybody believe I am the first one who get to Early Hyrule Castle, I try to make a new stategy. Isn't it and Idea to put Epona in the norther wall from Hyrule castle?

  • been tried, doesn't work

  • cd streaming does let you skip king bulblin...

But if you skip King Bulblin you never activate malo mart and cant get castle town mart. (Goron elders automatically appear at malo mart once its open if you have ems-you dont have to beat goron mines.)

  • Yes, but you're a lot more limited as to what you can do with CD-Streaming.

You can put in Twilight Princess, play to a part where you want to CD-Stream, and put in a different game and all, (The way I first discovered how to do it), but you're limited to only a few seconds of play before you have to put the game back into the system. That pretty much means that you can't do a lot of cool stuff, like getting into the Forest Temple way early.

  • Comment removed

  • how can i fix it.

  • I don't know, read the manual.

  • heres a idea for every body DON'T DO IT unless you want to buy a new gamecube or pay to get yours fixs :P

  • if you're careful about it, it shouldn't hurt anything (expecially if you use the open/close lid method.)

  • I tried that glitch and now my gamecube won't let me play any of my games! Every time I put in any disk it say no disk. Why?

  • it could be that the disc reader is dirty.

  • well, instead of jumping to conclusions that make you sound like a total dick in front of the whole YouTube public, why not try it for yourself first?

  • you only have 3 hearts lols

    anyways graet glitch

  • 3 hearts is easy, though things get a bit hairy inside the palace of twilight. Also, beating 2 Iron Knuckles with 3 hearts can be kinda tough

  • Tobad the challenge is kinda ruined due to the over abundance of hearts in the game..

The 3 heart challenge makes the difficulty too unbalanced. Some parts are still easy even with 3 hearts, and some parts it's too annoying and hard.

  • to hard? what are you talking about?

  • thats a great glitch

  • Link is on crack XD

  • i tryed that and when i tryed to transform it got stuck transforming

  • you can't transform with the trick because the game has to load either the wolf model or the Link model depending on which what your transforming to.

  • when you say swap the games out do you mean any game?

  • yea

  • Swap it out with what? o.o

I sent my Wii for repairs, so I can't try it out until later. Maybe you could give us a better explanation on how to do it?

  • hmm, gotta fix the description...

pretty much what you do is you eject the game disk and re-insert it to stop the disk from spinning (this step can be done whenever you press the home button). Now that the disk is no longer spinning, go wherever you want to go. If you trigger a loading spot, you'll hear the disk drive on the wii boot up; This is where you press home again, eject the disk and re-insert it.

  • wth

  • can this ruin your game?

  • only if you save in a spot your not suppose to be.

  • lame

  • @DemonDash Fail troll is fail.

  • LOL @ Link crawling on the ground at 2:18

  • i tried in the wii version, nutin happens...

  • lol pegasus!

  • lol when he replaces the disk and all it looks like a unfinished zelda game

  • Yeah, what is it?

  • What's CD-Streaming? Is it like Action Replay?

  • uh... no

It's when you stop the system from reading the disk by taking it out and replacing it (Wii games), or by opening/closing the GCN.

  • i tried and discover that you don't have to put another disk. uhm, in that same path where you get where the 2 monsters are, press start, open the GC and close it. press start and when you hear the noise open and close it rapidly. it will do the same. but im just trying to help, the credit is all yours :)

  • DUDE!!! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO WHEN YOU PAUSED THE GAME????? there has to be something that you did then. SO WHAT DID YOU DO???

  • I took out Zelda and put in SUPER SMASH BROTHERS MELEE!!! (but any game disk will work)

  • wth? that was cool.

  • this makes no fucking sencse how do u keep it from not sayong theirs no game in long enef to do the glitch tell me please

  • 1)The game can't be reading the disk when you first start, unless you have the Wii version. Press Home to pause the Wii.

2)On the Gamecube, press open and close the top. On the Wii, press eject and put in a different CD.

3)Play until you hear the Wii/GCN making their loading disk noises.

4)Press open on the GCN and close the top. Press home on the Wii, hit eject, and re-insert.

    5)Repeat Steps 3 and 4 as desired.

If playing the GCN version on the Wii, all you can do is eject & swap once

  • thank u and i own a game cube wii makes no sennse on zelda

  • well that's a weird glitch hmm.. well i will try it but still cool

  • what the fuck

  • well thats to damn bad then isn't it?

  • With this could you get through to places that you shouldn't be able to access at that point in the game? Like Hyrule Castle Town early while its in Twilight and still be normal human?

  • yes, but then what? Unless you do the fixed early master sword glitch, you're stuck in the twilight forever

  • Well I want to do a few things there.

  • yeah it was mirrored becuase link is originally left handed but in the wii version the ppl made him right handed and mirrored it for game cube..

  • when you say its mirrored does that mean everything in the game is mirrored or just the character model. btw i just got zelda tp for wii and it rules

  • All the graphics in the Wii Version have been mirrored (excluding text and other stuff) so that Link would swing his sword with the right hand, since most people are right handed

  • wow trippy. so potentially someone who's really good at the gc version could play the wii and be completely thrown off or vice versa

  • I've played a little of the Wii version at a friends house, and yea, it's confusing

  • i know what you mean... al yo have to do is not play the gamecube version for a while, then play the Wii. btw, i think it was really lazy of Nintendo to flip the whole world, instead of just making a new Link model

  • But then they'd have to change how Link interacts with doors, and which side enemies hold their shields and delay the game even more.

  • ah yes, i did not think of this. btw, this is a really cool glitch:P

  • At the end, it was like the air was poisened.

  • Yes it works =)

  • the wii versions screen is seat up differently than gc (duh) but the graphics seemed to look nearly the same

  • Maybe it's because the graphics are exactly the same, just mirrored.

  • dude thats sweet 5 stars ,but could you watch mine rate and coment please

  • why the game says "Insert disc" instead of "close the disc cover" ??

  • I obviously don't have LoZ TP in my Gamecube

  • because thats the wii version

  • What are you talking about?

  • sorry wrong video your right

  • Haha, I was just kidding, but okay!

  • i tried to do this but didn't work for gcn

  • then you're not doing it right =P

  • Swedish is for losers! Finnish is 10x better!

  • you dare to send me a chain comment written in another language?

  • Yeah sorry that was a messege in swedish.

  • nice

  • lmao, I've beaten it twice.

  • ok, 1nce again, dis IZ NOT ME!!!! i havnt evn beatn da game!!!! its my stupid cuzin!!! if she has offended any1, im deeply sry, and i will change mei password again. once again, so sorry!!! DX o, an da game iz not a ripoff. its da BOMB!! evn tho i havnt beatn it. hey, good 4 u, tho mzx!!

  • That's why you never give out passwords and always remember to log out.

  • *hangs head in shame* im sry...

  • Now this reminds me of OOT "flawless" game, and infinite Glitch can XD!

  • what the hell, is this on wii? or gc?

  • Both, though through different means...

The Wii's Home button technique (discovered by MASTERLINKX) is superior, since the wii itself isn't programmed to monitor ejects in the middle of the home menu.

With GCN, it's just a couple of well timed open/closes.

  • It's on gc. If it was on wii it would have a blue fairy flying around.

  • fucking gc, observ the right upper corner

  • you are a big noob I am in the wolk temple (kulumba)

  • ...wha??

  • lucbossman, Wtf are you smoking?

Nice glitch by the way. I've gotta try it on the Wii Version.

  • ROFL

  • I think lucbossman is giltching.

  • ur disk must be messed up dude that aint supposed to happen! but its freakin AWESOME!

  • Actually, my disk is normal. I just hit open while I was in the middle of playing the game and changed disks.

But if you read the description, you'll find a better way of doing it

  • omg howd u do that?! i found a glitch with epona just like that on ledgend of zelda majoras mask!

  • looked like he had a heart attacklol

    pretty koo though

  • wtf was that?

  • Not everybody did, asshole. That's why it's on youtube, so you can try out fun glitches.

  • hey when i did that glitch in the hyrule field at north of the castle (whit a river in middle) i founded a black box and u can get in there going to eldin bridge

  • I made a video on that already. Ilia is in there

  • ilia?? how is that?? i didnt seen her

  • Search TP glitch more CD-Streaming Oddities

  • Why didn't you attack the stupid Twilit Bokoblin? I wanted to see it die for trying to kill Link.

  • wow but why did u click on pause for?

and where do u do that?

  • I paused because I was switching games during the pause. I got to update the video info because Kazooie found a better way to CD-Stream on the GCN.

You can CD-Stream anywhere on Hyrule Field. Search CD-Streaming, Super CD-Streaming, and the Dead Door Glitch for tricks you can do.

  • that cant be on a wii??

  • Home button, hit eject and change games, play, listen to Wii for funny noise, home button, eject, reinsert game, repeat steps 3-8 until your done CD-Streaming
