will you marry me? I am pretty darn smart person, I always get A's in school - except in math. usually this kind of math makes me feel like the most stupid person in the world.
I'm in differential equations. In one the problems I ended up with 3 eq and 3 variables; totally forgot how to solve it and felt so stupid once I watched this. You explain everything very well. Are you a teacher? If not you ought to consider it, lol. Thanks
by all means sir you have just helped me pass my exams forget anyone who trolls and call u a nerd just remember their some people who is trying to be something in life and u have just helped many of us to get a step closer
Im sure you already seen hundreds of comments saying this, but I'm going to add another one and say, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I literally sat for 30+mins trying to figure out how to do this. I didn't think about multiplying like you did on 3:40. Im gonna share this with my classmates, and get them to subscribe. Thanks again man.
I don't understand how you're able to be so mellow and cool about helping hundreds and THOUSANDS of people all over the United States and other parts of the world!! You are so amazing and I know you might not see this but THANK YOU. I know you play it off like it's no big deal but I really hope you realize how much of a help you've been to me for the past 3 years AND to many other people. Thankz BRUH
@tysonoboyoboy happy to help : ) it does make me feel good to know that maybe i have been able to help a few people in this crazy, sometimes very stressful world : )
is it me, or when it showed the before commercial, it sounded like jarem said" my name is jarem, and i am a woman," lol great video though, very thorough and informative. wayyy better than my math teacher:)
Do you have to divide the three equations by the SAME number or can you use three different values. Im doing a problem which has big numbers and i want to reduce them by a factor that is common amongst the values within each equation but not with the other equations. Ex the first equation im dividing by 2, the second im dividing by 3 and the third im dividing by 5. Will that throw me off?
@patrickJMT hey patrick..my bad i mistakenly copied 2 equations only, its 3 equation..:)...i was also wondering myself why i can't solved the question..hehe..anyway thanks for the help
Me before watching: "AHHH MATH TOO HARD, DON'T UNDERSTAND". Me after watching: "Oh, well that makes so much sense. Why do teachers insist on teaching things the hard way? This is so much better."
You're awesome. Thank you for making this so easy to understand. I took notes while I watched the video so that I can reefer back to it when I don't have my computer nearby. I am in intermediate algebra in college and my teacher's second language is English. He is confusing and hard to understand so I am glad I can turn to people like you when I get lost....which is very frequently! Again, thank you so much!
thank you very much.. i was having problem with 1 problem for about more that hour. but this video solved that problem in just a minute.. thatnks bro.. u the best.
Thanks for the tremedous help because of this i finshed my homework and its now a lot easier than i have thought thanks again. may all good luck come your way because this is honest work you've protrayed to us all who were struggling that know know the secret into getting the right answer lol i sound kinda chessey sometime.
First I'd like to say thank you for posting these tutorials, they really helped me out. Second, what if you eliminate y and with the resulting 2 equations the answer is 0=0?
@patrickJMT Hmm Thank you, I will look for that video. I'm hoping to find a way to expose which equations will be included in the results using elimination by addition method. ex: {xyz|x=4z-y, y=3z-x, z= any real numbers} or {xyz|x=4z-y, y & z = any real numbers}
@tmtothy you dont have to divide them with the same number each one of the 3 equations can be divide by each 3 or 2 or 1(like what he did in the video) different number
Your left handed! Woo! :) I am too and this was a good video. It helped me get the process down but unfortunately the numbers in the problems I get aren't so nice. Thanks!
Once you have 3x + z = 6, note that z = 6-3x, Also note from x-y+2z=5 and 2x+y-z=1, that if you add twice the second to the first, you eliminate the z term and leave 5x+y=7, so y = 7-5x. Then substitute into equation 3, 3x-2y-3z=-10 to get the x=1 solution. Then you already have the y and z values in terms of x ready to plug in.
i hope youtube is paying you well, because you deserve every dollar
