I would suggest leveling uchigatana to +5 before depths. Very handy! I have drake and uchigatana in right hand, shield and pyro in left. At this stage this is very effective "load out."

Second comment: the hollow shield drops more frequently if you reverse hollowing before running around. That increases drop rate. At this stage I have 4 of those shields!

I want to level up my uchi but the drake is just too freaking awesome at this stage. I do like my uchi as a secondary for tight quarters.

I ordered Dark Souls off amazon for $35 thanks to black friday! I have to really think what I want to play as haha, played as a knight in demon souls with strong faith, I'm wondering should I go a faith build since you only have estys flask instead of grass?The hardest part is picking the right class that fits ya know?

i have done the first 2 bosses in demon souls, and its very hard and i really like that, and this game seems a little easier than demon souls. I really like everything about the game, but it takes me a really long time to do the parts,

and its frustrating me be course i really think its a great game

i die very often and sometimes i rage quit the game, and come back after 1 hour. So do you think i shall try this game?

@MrPlaysta1 I'd personally finish Demon's Souls first. This game is more of the same and I wouldn't call it easier by any stretch. Remember this is my second playthrough and even with that I'm editing out most of my deaths. There's plenty in this game to frustrate the player, but learning and adapting to conquer challenges is what makes it so great.
