That's the only thing I didn't like about the show. This episode implies that having a "blue-collar" son is something to be ashamed of. There's nothing wrong with trying to get children to become all they can be, but once they're grown up, let it go. Don't make them feel bad about it. Some people just aren't that bright and don't make it that far...
@slothbp I beg to differ. I found Olivia annoying for the most part. But at least Keisha was a good actress. So much that she became the youngest actress (at 6) ever to be nominated for a Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series Emmy.
@musicaltheatergeek79 , I agree. I think Rudy was a good little actress. I thought she was one of the cutest kids I'd ever seen on TV back during season 1. She's still cute now, too. I think she's on House of Pain. :)
