  • Hello neurocysticcircossis

  • Wow great episode thanks for visit Nicaragua and send that cordial message to Daniel Ortega maybe there is a possibility that he may do something for the country for once :)

  • No, showing the poverty is just to show how poor ppl are actually living in Nicaragua, showing the slums how ppl actual live is how it IS. Yes theirs beautiful places in the country but this is what it's really like for many their

  • I love the style of preparation almost all South Americans do with their meat... meat cooked over coals is awesome.

  • Dear Danny if i may call you that.. What happened?

  • amazing program , fuck ortega shit

  • One of my favorite episodes. Love the country and the food. Fuck Daniel Ortega!

  • La church is gone. The government with the help of the Spanish government constructed a recycle facility where the people or family that used to collect garbage now work. Also, new small houses were build to the families. The Chamorro and ANthony forgot to add that after the revolution her mon govern with the rest of the mafia of the liberal party that did not do anything for the past 16 years of government.

  • Salamat for the upload!!!:)

  • @Jinamir24 no problem

  • no me sirve la cususa deberia de saber so procedimiento primero

  • OK, I give up. I am trying go look up info on the goat-sheep on the grill. How is it spelled??

    Perague? Paregue? Pelegue? Belegue?

  • @spictnp It's spell Pelibuey ¡¡¡

  • great episode, it shows the reality every nicaraguan live everyday, it also shows how politician have taken advantage of their position for personal wealth, it shows that it is a beautifull country, but unfortunate for its politicians, it is hard to watch at times but it is reality, thanks anthony

  • ohne die leckeren Zutaten würde man die armselige Blutwurst wohl nicht runter kriegen. Also , warum nicht gleich das Blut weglassen.!?

  • Anthony don't like porks otherwise he would not eat them

  • I am vomiting! Blood? Disguisting!!

  • Anthony, I just want to say that Im very undisappoint about the comment in Nicaragua. It was thue that Nicaragua has some places in bad condition but also Nicaragua has beutifull places in the North of the country. I can believe that you just showed all the terribles places. Tell me one thing, you went to Cuba and you just talked about baseball. How much you paid to fidel castro to showed that fidel wanted.

  • Great episode. I'm from Nicaragua and its still difficult to see the poverty that exists there. I'm glad that Anthony Bourdain was able to experience Nicaragua for all that it is, both good and bad. He and I share the sane views. Nicaragua is such a beautiful country with beautiful people. Greed and power have taken away so much. Great episode! Thanks for sharing. I will pass this along to friends and family.

  • @littleone0217 please do. glad you enjoyed the episode.

  • nice can't wait to go back to my beautiful Nicaragua.....thanx for the vid.

  • @bigeddy74 happy to help

  • We Nicas are nice people

  • At the dump site he should go to, down town los angeles, Californiam looks the same

  • Of course he doesn't visit the Atlantic cost....we don't exist! -_-

  • @Defjams1991 but bizarre foods went to there and i think thats pretty kool too, this episode obviously focused on spanish-nicaraguan life and political struggles, so much goin on there that i guess he couldnt go into the Atlantic coast's history (which ofcourse is COMPLETELY different and is almost like its own country and culture.I know because i'm 100% Miskito indian but live in the U.S. now.

  • I usually agree with Tony's views, but in this episode he seems too eager to accept the versions on poverty of a press mogul, son of a former right wing-president (did she care much for the people in the dump when she had a go at power?) and a former rancher (it is hard to believe that he rejected both Somoza AND the Sandinistas). And it is shocking that he has a breakdown at the dump as if he had not really not seen enough of that all over the world...

  • excellent episode.

  • As a Nica, it's so weird to see my country from the gringo point of view...

but i did like the episode.

  • @GlowRuiz May I ask what part you're in? I've visited Managua, La Churreca, and done work in a small town called Leon as part of various relief/Mission Trips. God Bless you and your country. Greetings from H-Town, Tx. in the U.S.

  • @NodDisciple1 I live in Managua :)

  • .. The money that Daniel Ortega gets is from the support he gave to the drug trafficking. Licking the boots of Hugo Chavez and Fidel.. and appropriating nicaraguan's things. Lo dice una Nicaragüense, que está orgullosa de su país. Arriba Nicaragua! :)

  • Thanks for comming to Nicaragua and displaying the truth... much journalists just say too many lies about everithing.

Nicaragua will provail... Ortega is comming down

  • Wonderful upload. Thanks!

  • @tonyizhurr no problem, mate. glad you enjoyed it

  • Let's see.Reagan wanted to Aide The Contras to Fight Ortega.Anthony hated Reagan.Goes to a Dump,Cries over how Ortega is treating People.Hates Ollie North Who wanted to get Ortega out of Power. So He is a Anti-Communist?Pro -Communist?Love The Show any way.Tony needs to stay out of Politics. Is a good Lesson On Revolution.A Small Organized group of Commies can Take over easy.

  • yeah, i agree. this show just keeps getting better and better. i love food & i love travel, but now Tony is educating about the history, day to day struggles and possible future of these countries. seriously, the haiti episode made me cry

  • Watching him stuff himself with chicharron(sp?) and blood pudding a mere few days after his breakdown from the dump pickers makes him appear to be a little insincere. I for the most part like his show, but it appears, as is true universally, the power of drink is supreme. I guess he redeems himself with the little speech at the end to Danny Ortega. Better than nothing.

Good work Mr. Bourdain. And thanks kumquatsta for posting

  • You rock Kumquatsta!

  • I was in Nicaragua two years ago. This excellent episode reminds of boot the sweet times I had there, and the horrific standard of living that alot of people there endure. I like how they did not overlook that fact.

  • Was the Haiti episode and this one .. One of the newest ones? I really like the direction they're going with these. They go all over the world, they should cover the strife with the splendor. Great episodes. Thanks so much kumquatsta for putting this up and in such great quality!

  • @Brambleiah yep, this is from the latest and current season. glad you enjoy them

  • Thanks for this episode! :)

  • @hipgrinder no problem, mate
