Very impressive piece of engineering, I am amazed at the way they manoeuvered the new bridge into place.
I thought at one stage the new bridge was going to go through the windows of the fire station (that's the building beyond the railway on the LH side of the road).
I hope Network Rail are filming the Vastern Road (Yellow) bridge extensions in the same way - as it will be great to watch it expand quickly. Enjoyable video
This reminds of the thomas episode where henry is shut in a tunnel and the build wall in front of him. you can also tell when it's new years eve at the beginning because that was the only day trains passed through Reading
Excellent video, and amazing bridge building works. It looks like the last section of the film had a faster framerate than the beginning. Was this done during shooting or during video rendering?
Wow, totally amazing. How on earth did they manage to get that huge 'slab' along the side-roads and swing it into place. It would have been great to finish the video off with a train running across it at 'normal' speed.
here are those ants building those nests again marge

@ponderation It was shot at one frame per 30 seconds, and the end was sped up as not much happened.
