When Al Gore showed you the hockey stick effect graphic, he made the case it was because of CO2 from the Industrial Revolution.
But this is an assumption which has turned out to be untrue because temperature rise comes BEFORE the CO2 rise, and the reason for the hockey stick effect is because we shot out of the "Little Ice Age". It had mostly to do with sunspot activity, which is not a gradual thing. The Industrial Revolution happening at about roughly the same time was just a coincidence.
As for the cooling seen in some spots, the explanation is ozone depletion. This is accounted for, not ignored.

When Al Gore showed you the hockey stick effect graphic, he made the case it was because of CO2 from the Industrial Revolution.
But this is an assumption which has turned out to be untrue because temperature rise comes BEFORE the CO2 rise, and the reason for the hockey stick effect is because we shot out of the "Little Ice Age". It had mostly to do with sunspot activity, which is not a gradual thing. The Industrial Revolution happening at about roughly the same time was just a coincidence.
