That's the point of this show, to teach us people who are at risk to make ourselves less so. it can happen to anyone, no matter what you think like drunk driving, or over dosing, or alcohol poisoning. It can happen to anyone, the point of this is to educate the public about how to PREVENT situations like these from happening. The CHANCES it can happen in your town may be less but it is NEVER 0%

Gotta call BS on this.  They claim that a child is abducted or reported missing every 40 seconds. Thats 788,400 children every year! The reality is that kidnapping is actually an extremely rare occurence. Even in Phoenix the kidnapping capital of the US, there were only a TOTAL of 318 Kidnappings in 2009, and many of them are atributed to drug cartel activity. However this does make a great Advertorial for the company behind this. Lets not confuse advertising with a real documentary.

Considering the conditions under which people are found it is unlikely the family or person kidnapped will agree to show them as they were at the time or rescue. A parent of a child doesn't want their kid shown as kiddie porn or a child prostitute. Adult females don't want it known she was a sex slave. Would you?
