to spell it out (and kill the joke) they get married in the comics. she knows clark is superman. and for the sake of the entire skit they take the time travel thing from the movie, a power he doesn't have in the comics, but that's ok, this is satire, and use it to depict Lois as an irrational shrew of a woman
