to use the slot 2 you have to put 2 sim inside XD. if there is only one sim inside it works in the slot 1. dude

when you turn it on is should say "SciPhone"

and it shouldn't have that circle thing.

the battery should also say SciPhone

you should have bought it on (cectunlocked . com) they have the real one and it has a 1 year warranty

hi, i just bought the exact same phone off ebay recently and i'm having some problems with it...

when i plug it into my computer it doesn't setect it at all. it used to, but for some reason no matter what computer i put it in it wont detect it.

does yours work???

you have to put it in slot two face down thts what i did with my sciphone of ebay like the one in the vid with a gold battery and everything.... i think its a fake sciphone clone of a clone haha but yeh face down in slot 2 and now mine works

i had the same problem.

here is my answer:

put your SIM card you use in second sim slot in a other mobile phone and there you have to deactivate your PIN

in most mobile phones you can do this in settiings>security>SIM

if you do this you only have to put in the PIN for your first SIM and then the mobile phone will start.

i had heard that it is a software problem.

Have you actually tried to insert TWO simcards? Maybe if you only have one card in the phone, it needs to be in the first slot?!?

Yes, I have tried, but SIM2 card doesn't work. I tried both cards inserted, or only one SIM2, but no result. And I know exactly why I have this. problem....because IT'S NOT REAL SCIPHONE. IT'S A FAKE. Don't by SciPhones that sell "1stshophere" user on eBay!

Try to insert the second simcard differently, no matter what the instructions might say. You woldn't believe how many people put the second sim card in the wrong way :-(
