Listening to this, I tend to wonder if UFO was a big influence on Guns N' Roses. Appetite and the Use Your Illusion albums have tracks that definitely have a UFO vibe to them, this song especially. A cover of this song would have fit seamlessly into Appetite or the UYI albums.

When I played in bands, we did this song. It took me six months to learn this song note for note. I had to slow the LP down to 16 rpm to figure it out. One of the greatest guitar songs of all time.
