His answers does not make any sense just like all the answers of others. There's no way Atheists can debate properly cux they always use the fallacy of circular logic to answer those questions

Second of all, he was trying to make a point that you missed. In the Old Testament, God was setting the stage for the coming of Christ. To do this, he laid out laws for the Israelites--partly to demonstrate the need for a savior and partly to give them rules for living their lives. When someone broke a law, God demonstrated how serious he was about saving the world by sentencing lawbreakers to death.

I don't see how that's hard to believe.

Why don't u talk about the reality in life.Let me ask u, do u work?, do your parent work? Okay, okay; in the Old Testament, BEFORE Christ came, God set those laws because the Israelites were concerned with what should be done in any legal circumstance. God said that if you break certain laws, you can be put to death, and one of them was working on the Sabbath. Why did God want people dead if they worked on the Sabbath? To be frank, I don't really know; I haven't studied the Bible very much and I'm not God.

Now, when Christ came, He summed up all 613 laws that were given to the Israelites in two laws: love your neighbor as yourself, and love God with all your strength, heart, and mind. Christ basically--for the lack of a better word--refined (not implying that God's laws were imperfect in the first place, mind you) what God told the Israelites in the Old Testament.
