eyes were the last thing handed to adam. moved on the water the lake of fire and passed straight though that firery lake and never was spent. read about it in paradise lost, im gnostic, moved on the water not christ the spirit. not the flesh.
I would almost say that Nietzsche and his intoxication theory comes from Baudelaire, cuz i know he has read baudelaire, he speaks about him in Will to power. But in Twilight of the idols he talks about intoxication in the same way Baudelaire does. Only Baudelaire calls it: becoming high', and N, become intoxicated with, poetry, narcotics, love whatever u need, to take u to the next lvl
fuckin a man. awesome poem. i love poetry about weed. i have written like 10 poems about weed, i kinda put them into songs, but i'm a horrible singer.
@SmokinAwayToday For Gods sake, this is not a poem about weed, It was written in the 19th century and says* "Get high on wine, poetry or virtue." No mention of weed. Interestingly, the author did try Hash, but did not seem to find it worthy to include in this poem.
Also, it was translated from French, and could be translated as "drunk." not high. "High" was not symonemouse with drug intoxication in 19th century Paris.
That's really a great video! Every once in a while one finds something like this on YouTube and then there is a feeling that the searching finally paid off.
