sardines are so typical in Portugal there is a common expression to describe a situation where you want something to work for your advantage - translated it would be " pulling the ember to your sardine"
@JohnLawrenceCobraKai Sure man , in Portugal sardines are a staple summer food, prices get as low 1 euro a kilo, there are places where they are grilled right off the fishing boats - had some amazing sardines in Morocco too
for the sardines not to stick throw in plenty of rock salt, it will work as anti adherent and you can scrape it off before serving --- everyone in portugal knows this ! and nake sure the pan is v hot

Why bother with the fish? Just cook the darn olive oil. English celeb chefs are really becoming pretentious arseholes by trying to be Italian in all their cooking which means literally flooding food with olive oil. Idiots.
@J060191 And why not... I cook with lots of Olive oil, I think it's one of those ingredients that tastes amazing, but also it's not the most unhealthy thing to cook with.
marco is a better cook then gorden, marco is a level 5 chef gorden is a level 4, or something like that, but i know hes better then gorden, they are both excellent, but on paper marcos on a higher level
@kiminokami I didnt give them levels, they earned it, and i correct myself , Marco is not a level 5 he is a 3 and Gordon is a 2, they earn themselves Michelin stars on how good they are, people say marco is level 3 meaning hes earned 3
Michelin stars makes him level 3, and whats all this about xmen?????????? thats just a fanstasy film hahaaaahahahaha
Thats one of the juiciest grilled and intact sardines i have seen in the near future. Certainly Marco is one of the great chefs in the market :-) Bravo!
@Crazyman1212 how can u know that...i dont understand why people talk about who is better???....u didnt work with them so u cant know...who are u to tell who is better???....you can say that he is your favourite chef...you HAVE TO WORK WITH THESE CHEFS SO U CNA KNOW!
@Rereman4 im not saying ramsay is a terrible chef, ramsay is awesome and better then most but the best chef in my mind is marco. Gordans more successful with his t.v shows but that doesn't make him the worlds greatest chef. If i had a choice to learn for a day with one chef it would be marco and he reminds me of sideshow bob a little.
