  • 16,475 views, and 0 dislikes. Fuck yes. This is music that can save your mind and heart. (I would say soul, but that would be disrespectful to Frank's memory :)

  • nailed it

  • Fucking Brilliant!

  • Dweezil's such a creep, he's making me hold this Aladdin! He wants ME to fuck the girl with the flute!

  • @SecretTimeWarp He wants me to stuff it up her and rub it.

  • @muffinman72326 When someone from a band gets near me, I just.... tsssssst.... I just.... ooh!

  • love the left handed neck strung backwards on the right handed guitar, classy

  • LOLOLO "EPIC HIT"?!???!??!??! you HAVE to be kidding. He got very little air-play.

  • @analyzingfunny It was a top record in several european countries when it was released in 1969.

  • Lacks the energy and intensity of the version Frank did on SNL. Not complaining though!

  • amazing

  • Dweezil really has put in the time to become a first class musician. This is quite a complex piece. Well done.

  • Actualy, Dweezil found the guitar somewhere in the Zappa mention and refurbished the guitar. It is the guitar Jimi Hendrix set on fire on stage.

  • @oogwerkmedia Actually it was Frank who refurbished it in the late '70's Hendrix gave it to Frank at the Miami Pop Festival in 1969.

  • @muffinman72326 You're both right, Jimi gave the burned guitar to Frank who put on the upside down neck and got it playable then used it for many years. When Frank stopped playing it was stored in his house where it remained until a few years ago when Dweezil took it out of storage. He also had to do some work on it to bring it back after its long sleep.

  • @muffinman72326 at first Zappa refurbished it then it broke and Frank then refurbished it

  • @muffinman72326 According to an interview I read (forget which one, it was on Zappa Wiki Jawaka), it was Hendrix's roadie (or tech, etc.) that gave the guitar to Frank, and not at the Miami Pop Festival, but rather when the roadie stayed at Frank's house. It is the guitar from said festival though.
