Also not the right way.... The strength of a mawashi geri comes from the fact that you hit your target horizontally... You hit your target diagonally so you hips are not turned in far enough.... It looks like you can throw a hard mawashi geri, cause the target is also turned diagonally.... If you hit a person this way on the head or body, it will hurt, but a lot of your energy will be wasted...
Damn!!! you kicks sure are powerful and most important they are right on target... great video... definately going to subscribe you. keep up the gud work and by the way is that karate?
although terminally it is a mawashi geri, this isnt a karate technique more a kickboxing technique...sorry
in karate the kick comes 100% from the side, you have to lift your knee while it still hasent reached your front area und then it is a combination of snapping foot, shifting the hip, bending the body resulting pure power
it would definetly knock out but its just no karate technique :)
wow that was realy good, I love kicking too, and the way you do that is realy amazing, specially on your other videos when you jump and kick at the same time, I wanna learn to do that :)
Good video but i think you should also tell the people what part of the body your hitting with.. the top of the foot, the instep, or the shin? to me, i would hit the instep/shin portion but dont want nobody break the small bones in the foot. Overal great vid Thomas!!
thanks vinnie actually i also prefer kicking with the lower part of my shin because of my kyokushin background and kickboxing however this video is also for point fighting styles where i would not recommend focussing on power but on speed and distance this is the best version between power and speed i think this week i'll be posting kicking videos for everyone next week i'm going to show speed only and power only techniques so many kicks so many versions.....so many videos :P
Oh okay buddy. Yeah there are a lot of variations. Don't kill yourself trying to get tons of videos out man. I know you have toher things to do too =) .. We are all still going be here.
