No it was crude, about a 23-25 gravity I would say. We have some shallow oil that is very thick and black. This well turned out to be about 125ft deep and the State paid me to plug it for them as it was in a front yard of a home.
@hitkaineman You don't know what your talking about. Michigan basin has oil that is as low as 19-20 gravity and is black. I had 3 oil wells in next county over that had black oil as well...produced a couple thousand barrels of it at a depth of 350"

Only one problem. Oil is not that black when it come out the ground. This looks like used motor oil.

hey not a bad way to produce 4.5 bbl per day (one truck load a month) just hope it keeps flowing at that rate.
