I like firefox but this video wasn't fair, I agree with sollembum78, you used firefox (safe mode), and for some reason you didn't load up google on firefox as you did with internet explorer.

Joker....Why not use Chrome instead, its even faster. Moreover, did you rig the firefox to load faster? You don't need to put down IE explorer, itself is a recurring problems, takes a long time to load, stalls, hangs and use loads of rams (depending on website).

1) You used Safe Mode

2) You opened firefox default page which loads faster then normal pages(it's used to show that this browser is better) You have to open same page in both for real comparison.

By the way, Internet Explorer has more add-ons than Firefox. That's the reason that IE starts a bit slower. What Do You think will happen if You will disable all add-ons of IE? It will start in 1 second. I have both of them. IE and FF. My CPU is Intel Pentium 4, 3.20GHz.

And my RAM memory is only 512MB, but IE still be faster than Firefox. My homepage is Google, in both Browsers. I used Bing, but my System and Network are too weak, so Bing loads a bit slower. IE is the most compatible browser!!

For me IE also starts faster then FF. Anyway i think Chrome is best for XP and Vista, and for Windows 7 IE8 is the best. Firefox is good too but too heavy.

on W7 RC.. and started FF normal mode not safe mode..
