Did the onvestigators even bother to thoroughly inspect the cargo ? Otherwise, I hope the cargo was duly delivered in time - otherwise there involves a serious waste of Mexicano farm laboring.
I thought this case was very interesting. Truck drivers are known to do drugs such as amphetamines to stay awake longer. It is logical that it was a drug overdose, which is why he never left the woods. Even though they said he never had a record of it, it could have been the first time for him or they were lying.
He sure acted like he was on drugs. The blank stare, the erratic behaviour, etc. The $20 bill might have been used for the drug and the talk of lighting the "grill" might have been a code-word for an attempt to light up a drug dose. The talk about going to jail would have been a reaction to being caught in the act by bypassers. The same goes with throwing a stone at one of the cars. He was probably on drugs when he decided he needed more and drove into the forest for more privacy.
people can hide their mental illness for many years. But they can only do that for so long as it eventually becomes too much and they can slip into psychosis. Part of the reason why people need medication in order to get better.
Mental illness is a great big mystery to a lot of people - but it's quite evident to me that devon had a psychotic episode and needed help.
I'm shocked that the bystanders didn't call for help for the man. It seems like common sense to me.
my scum parents threw me into the hosital where i stayed in the phych ward for 3 weeks because they said i had a mental illness. the only illness i developed was a complete lack of respect or civility towards my parents because they are insane trailer trash losers that i was unfortunatly born into. after my brief stay it was determined after inverviewing both me and my parents that it was not i who was mentally ill but it was they. the wife said "happiest point in their marrage"...
...if devin developed a mental illness, i would suspect that it was his fat kansas trailer trash mullet wearing wife that drove him to a break down.. the female animal that i have learned are suseptible to developing insanities, but they hide it well, the women compinsate for their misery by inflicting their misery onto men. hell hath no fury like a fat worthless waste of life. his wife rminds me of my mother.. or as i like to call them.. cum dumpsters.. fat lazy miserable layabout

UM started getting really good at finding their actors..Sometimes I wonder if the actual person was hired as the reenactor. If I were a wanted criminal, I would TOTALLY do that for the Lolz.
weird. maybe he did take some sort of drug. or maybe he had some kind of medical problem, maybe a brain tumour or something burst in his brain causing him to not know where he was or what he was doing.
I think he probably was suffering from work related stress as well as the yet-unknown diabetes. Truckers have very stressful jobs. Most can not do it without the aid of drugs.
I think that the mumbling about jail was in relation to him driving the semi into an area where he could not seem to get it back out.
Devins remains where found. He was diabetic and did not know it yet. His behaviour suggest diabetic shock. He wondered off then lapsed into a coma and died. That is what happned
he did something illegal. that's why he said "I'm going to jail." Then his accomplice came and murdered him to shut him up, and hid the body. That's most plausible to me. Question is, what crime was he involved in?

this is truly a great mystery... i believe this should be focused heavily upon as well as so many unsolved disappearances i know a lot of time has passed and that the guy is dead but the way this guy acted should be researched and any possible meaning to the: jail thing he was mumbling about... many things about this just doesnt add up and need to be further investigated... if not by police then by unconventional means... THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE!
@ 3:55 it appears he was going to use the 20 dollar bill to snort a line of meth (dilaudid) or coke off the flat rock. he was most likely on drugs, deranged, hallucinating and possibly he could have been homosexual. very strange case. thx for upload.
7:25: "arguing over whether to put linoleum or carpet in the dining room"... Well no wonder he ran away, those are horrible options for flooring in a dining room. Linoleum? Really?!
It sounds like he was either on drugs or was mentally ill (i.e. didn't take his meds, had a psychotic break, or some such other occurrence). That's what I think of when I see his behavior.
the guy was tripping on acid.some really good acid too.he remembered to bring his favorite tunes (probly the dead) and his clothes so he could lounge out in the woods.
i love when the trucks driving and the car is backing up . and where he throws the rock at the old couples ! "he just threw something at us , i think we should get outa here !" no shit buddy .
@cwood4ever I just thought of something else after I posted my last comment; he may have been diabetic or for some reason had high blood sugar, which often can cause odd confused behavior like he had.

The barbeque bit makes it pretty obvious...
Doesn't matter if he wasn't a druggie before - the fact that he was trying to light nothing on fire to start an imaginary barbeque proves that...
Either he had a psychotic episode or he took acid or crack - or somebody laced his food/drink with something for some reason!
But I don't see the mystery - he was acting crazy - so... at that moment he was...
