I reviewed this anime a while ago, I found it fairly good.

the first 23.5 episodes where the most amazing thing i have ever seen, then when jo died i started crying for 17 srtight hours

The Burst Angel OVA makes the ending to this a little less Shity.

Personally, I preferred Private Vasquez from Aliens 2. She was a lot more like Jo IMO. ^_^

My theory about the REAL ENDING:

The parts of the anime which depicts Meg being badass in Jo's stuff with D'jango were Meg daydreaming. Meg didn't look hard enough. Jo lived (because hey, if a scarf lived, she did too) and saw Meg, and they went back to the trailer. Amy, Leo and Sei (Jo made D'jango protect her), not to mention D'jango (yay D'jango!) were there, and they all lived happily ever after (with guns, robots and fighting).

So yeah, a scarf survives a huge explosion. Meg either calls it quits because she's lazy or couldn't handle how impossible it was that a scarf survived.

@mikeycoop1 I wish they had made Kyouhei a little more useful. I liked the women in Burst Angel, but I wish the men in the show like Kyouhei would've done something, too.

I suggest everyone to see it, it is on Blu Ray.

Ah but does Samurai Champloo have Yuri? No, no I don't think so. Burst Angel in my book is a perfect 5/5. What I like most about it is the relationship between Jo and Meg.

Plus i finished watching 'Vandread', both seasons. It felt similar to this being somin' just for the fan service/action mecha obsessed otaku (woop dee doo, look who watched it)

But it was just as impressive where it showed what it was meant for. Just like this series. And it had a somewhat more original back ground story then just blade runner (well for a universe where the male and female gender's have seperated into 2 different planets can go for original then sure)

I stopped after the first episode (because of other shows not because it was bad). Kyohei lack of development and purpose which is weird since we're introduced to him first, and the constant rescue the damsel cliché does seem to weigh it down a bit. It also sucks when the creators get you involved in the relationship between the two leads and then leave it hanging, still it seems like a good anime, great review and it's good to see you back.

Agreed there where some parts in Burst Angel that did get abit annoying at times but other than that it was a good Anime.
