And the sad part is ...... Their not even supposed to be out of Africa. They are the way they are cause they deal with predators trying to get at their nest day in and day out. Those stupid Brazilian scientists back in the 50's wanted to make a more temperate bee that could survive a cooler climate and decided, " Hey.......I'm gonna mate a Killer bee with an African Bee and see what happens , Lets bring them to South America. Oh crap ......they escaped.
@Tom6093 Well technically they tried to mate them more than to just make them temperate. They were actually mated with Honey bees to produce a strain of bee that could produce honey faster but they still kept their aggressive nature. Due to the aggressive nature they will expand by any means necessary, they even do hostile take over of other hives (mainly honey bee ones.) That is how they started to expand outwards and move farther north.
