No doub~ Clinton is and always has been a GOP operative. I wouldn't doubt that he also made SURE Obama's HC plan had no public option in it. Sure can't allow Obama to succeed on HC where he & Hillary failed. I say Clinton's EGO trumps all, and he will do or say or manipulate whatever he has to, in order to be sure Obama is NEVER perceived as a better Pres than he was. He must have ate up Chris Matthews patheic special -Clinton Pres, of the World. He needs to be called out & stopped !
Ryan would "end Medicare as we know it." Ryan cries "mediscare!" But he wants to replace the current government-paid system with one where seniors are handed vouchers and told to go find private coverage. If that wouldn't end Medicare as we know it, what would? In fact, Krugman says, it's Ryan who's misrepresenting. Rather than "a serious effort to come to grip with America's long-run fiscal problems, " .
Ryan's "bold" and "visionary" budget plan would essentially abolish Medicare, the government health insurance program for seniors. This didn't go over well with voters, who by and large love_make that depend on_their Medicare, and they've begun to make their feelings known-as in this week's upset in New York's 26th Congressional Disctrict, where the Democratic candidate took out her opponent by hammering on Ryan's proposal.
Fuck Bill Clinton. He can go to the hell he represents. Right-wingers need to pay more taxes, and the AMA and health care corps need their profits and wages limited. PERIOD. Any 'reform' of medicare means you're paying for grandma or she's dying the street, just like you will be. This country is going to be what India was 40 years ago. Buh bye.
I'm interested to see what happens here. They aren't necessarily pals but Ryan would be an idiot to not take budget advice from the only recent president to run consecutive surpluses.
@lovejen01 You've got to be kidding. Republicans create crisis to scare people into voting against their own economic interests. Ask YOURSELF this question. If the debt is so out of control, why are republicans giving away billions of dollars in corporate welfare?
@lovejen01 It's the same video others are posting elsewhere. Are you saying everyone around the internet has conspired to make Paul Ryan look bad? lol, too funny.
What the hell are people talking about on here paper money is based on nothing. They are just putting people under pressure to see where they can lead us. Even when you see them working against us you still defend them. Who will survive America if your blinded by ideology
I just want to know where to sign up to push old ladies in wheelchairs off the cliff. That looks like fun! It's what ALL republicans want to do, ummm. right?
I voted for Clinton in 92 and 96, but i think his legacy at this point is NAFTA, which screwed a lot of small farmers all over this hemisphere, and further deregulation of banks and killing off unions, etc. He also worked closely with Larry Summers and Bob Rubin, two of the architects of the meltdown of 2008, the biggest "legal" heist in American history. In addition to that, Clinton paved the way for the housing bubble and the DotCom bubble. Clinton is a mover and a shaker, but he's greasy.
Actually proof Clinton is a turn coat to be sure. Just another case when he dares NOT let Obama succeed nor ever be a better Pres. than he, ol mightty one, was! This proves he is a trader to the Dems and yet no one is calling him out. Oh wait, folks die when they do that. Oops.
The dems won in NY because of the unpopularity of Ryan's plan. Clinton is glad they won and it gives leverage to the democrat's position when negotiating changes to Medicare. Those negotiations are coming around the bend. Clinton isn't going along with Ryan's plan, he's setting the stage for future talks on the matter and framing it in light of the recent GOP defeat in NY. He's a master politician, Ryan is a newbie.
Liberals no longer have to contend with the DLC but the "Republican Lite" ghosts still haunt us... as this clip of the man Republicans labeled a "Socialist" even as he was deregulating the media, signing the repeal of Glass Steagal & the Working-Class-killing NAFTA, CAFTA & GATT, telling the "serious" sycophantic coward Paul Ryan to give him a call so they can plot the destruction of Medicare! Get rid of ALL "Blue Dogs!" They are the bane of America - like their conjoined twin - the Repugs.
Clinton,
I guess you were right about intelligence trash after all and what happens to the lowest form of life when the lid is not kept on
But a fuckin former President mocked by a fuckin pop star...
I guess cooperating with my covert military ruler does have its advantages cause just look at PBS tonight.....
The grin on their fuckin face Mr. President...
