If you have over a billion people then you are gonna have a lot more smart people than an country like Switzerland which only has 7.6 million people. But is the AVERAGE Indian smarter than the average Swiss? I don't think so and that's what really counts. I've been to both countries and if I had to live in either, I'd choose Switzerland in a microsecond. So it's a lot more complicated that the total number of smart people.

If Indian culture becomes Westernized then indeed India will only be great in name only. if India loses its Vedic culture and morals then India will not be the superpower. if the children are raised with Western fashion and Western ways then India will be no more. there will be a superpower in India with Indias name but it will be a counterfeit. I can already see the disappearing of India in the christian proselytization and immodesty creeping in into bollywood.
