Also Russia actually attempted a "Libyan solution", in 1994, with the use of a motley of an anti-Dudayev opposition alliance (and Russian covert forces), given tanks and supported by Russian airstrikes, to drive on Grozny. (According to Basayev, they cut their stay there short after someone attempted to poison them.) In 1999, Zelimkhan Yandarbiyev also visited Afghanistan en route to the UAE where he then stayed until his death in 2004. That's all.

Actually any murder in general is rare there.)

Shock & Awe didn't broke them, they had to be defeated, and during these few days thousands of them were killed.

Now go and compare some pictures of Baghdad in April 2003 (with extensive "use of any life force or heavy tanks in narrow streets" as this city of 6 million (!) people was captured in just 3 days (!!) of Abrams tank raids, called "thunder runs"), and Grozny in February 2000.

Especially with Russian army which has not the best time now where soldiers are forced to carry duty and dont even know what they are fighting for it is not the same as it was during the Soviet Empire. Besides Iraq army retreated and never showed much resistance and the chechen butchers would never do so as long as evry last of them is dead

One vocal supporter of this position was the extremist Akhmad Kadyrov, who called for every Chechen to kill 150 Russians (or "as many as you can", according to his later version), which I guess would pretty much mean this.
But later he became a celebrated "Hero of the Russian Federation", so apparently he wasn't really serious about it after all.

Because your army very quickly unconditionally surrendered and only small bands of Serbian "little coward pussies"(?) went to "hide in forests, caves, on mountains" to conduct their oh-so "cowardly" ambushes (along with terror raids against 'enemy' villages).
Before they decided to collaborate too, of course.

@Brainthrasher Easy: there was no greater urban destruction anywhere else in the world. Just like that. Not in Kabul (in the 1990s), not in Herat (in the 1980s), not in Vukovar, not in Hue and An Loc, not in Seoul, not in Mogadishu, and so on. It was the biggest one.
NATO did not "created radiation" in Yugoslavia. But Grozny got contaminated due to the shelling of the radiological waste dump. And as I said, neither Vukovar nor Sarajevo really compares to Grozny.

You could as well say 5 billion. It was even worse than your imaginary figures regarding of Chechnya, it's just beyond parody - and also "only" up to 150,000 people did in all wars of Yugoslav succession 1990-2000, altogether, total (mostly in Bosnia, at least 97,000 not including the indirect victims of the war).

There was a huge contamination. Besides the death of 500 thousant civilians, 85 thousant soldiers, 20 thousant policemen and 15 thousant volunteers, 2/3 of 300000 refugees died from cancer.

Less than 150 thousand people died in ALL THE WARS IN FORMER YUGOSLAVIA, on all sides, military and civilian, in Croatia, Bosnia (mostly), Kosovo (and also in Slovenia and Macedonia, but there casualties were absolutely minimal).
