  • as much as i am proud of my carribean roots...we're really not good at football :'(

  • @pianojamcake BUT...... Yall are improving... Each and every day. Jamaica is REALLY a respectable team these days.

  • 2:03 What's with the triangle?

  • @abgridzwan

    illuminati!!

  • lmao so many missed opportunities kind of reminds me of the mls :p

  • this is the kind of crowd you wanna hear at the world cup not that damn vuvuzela

  • y cant they play like this in the world cup for god sake geeeesh

  • Wow... Without the constant vuvuzela noise from this year's World Cup, this is far more enjoyable!

  • this wold cup would be easy for the USA, not like mexico who got the hardest team in the group. south africa and france.

  • come on USA lets kick Englands ass in the world cup .....USA USA USA

  • i'm from Algeria . i think usa is one of the best teams ..but we can beat them in world cup

  • You wont beat us !

  • thats lame theyre doin kick and run

  • I was there and it ruled!!! best live sports I have ever seen!

it also set a record for the most people at a soccer game in Tennessee lol. close to 30,000 if I remember correctly

  • 2:17

    WHAT A THROW~~!!!!!!!!!!

  • Altidore is good but Davies is better . . .and Bradley needs to Play Torres more he raw and i know that He's his son but he need's to see that Micheal ain't that good but he not that bad either but he doesn't deserve the starting row

  • There shouldn't be any questioning of Bradley's starting position. Would you like to find another central midfielder for the USA that's getting playing time for a European club in a top European league( who is available to us)?

  • damn usa looks powerfull, explosive, and dominant!!

  • thats because they r

  • Gj us, u guys are getting really better.

  • that was a great flick on by Ching to Donovan which lead to the first Altidore goal. This stadium generated a pretty good atmosphere. it must have felt like a true US MNT home game.

  • Comment removed

  • Yea i think 28 k at the game but no one knew about it

a friend told me about it

i didnt even hear from advertiseing

shoudve advertised it and LP would have been full

    its a great stadium

  • i saw a lot of usa fans when i was staying their downtown but usually their is some billboard or sign that the us is playing. but nothing on the local morning news on gameday they mentioned it for 5 seconds talking about a traffic jam. poor advertising

  • haha i was there on nashville tn

  • Me tooo

  • Me three. Haha, great to know we're all part of Tennessee history--largest crowd to ever attend a soccer game there! GO YANKS!

  • yeah man i was also there. GREAT match . GREAT night for soccer.

  • US fans don't seem to have the "raw" passion like fans of other countries. They're not loud enough, they don't commit themselves to the team, hell probably more than half the country doesn't even support the game! If the world cup ever came to the US, every game would be like an away game for the US. Our fans need to step it up a notch.

  • And I thought I was the only one who complained about the lack of fan support. I totally agree, everytime you watch the US say for example in El Salvador or in Costa Rica a couple days ago, they're fans are so damn loud, and they don't stop cheering, where when we have a home game they just don't put enough audio into the support.

  • You also have to realize that their stadiums are a lot smaller and closer to the field. So the noise is amplified.

  • obviously you weren't around for the 94 world cup.

  • i garuntee if the world cup came to the US every game would sell out and there would be tons of american fans

  • USA has gotten a lot better. But they are still missing better flashier scoring techniques and louder fans. The game in el salvador was a lot more exciting cause the fans were just as into it as the players. Even the US players were begging the fans to wake up. lol. Hey US fans this is your national team not your local high school soccer team.

  • US vs Honduras in Chicago will be a great game...Chicago area has the best soccer fans int he country

  • That smile on Jozy's face at 1:04 nearly brought tears to my eyes. His a special boy.

  • A very special boy. The US has been waiting for a player with his combination of speed, size, power, athleticism, and heart. Thank heavens Jozy is finally here!

  • June 15th is gonna Rock USA vs Italia in there confederations cup opener. 3 power teams in the Cup Brasil, Italia, and Espania.

  • T&T didn't show up in this game. either that or the usa was just to explosive.

  • T@T not even close to the level of the USA, Damn show some respect!!!!The USA has qualified for every World Cup since 1990

  • I watched this game, but whenever the Trinidad and Tobago keeper kicked the ball of goal kick, what were the people chanting?

  • i went to this game with my family. it was so cool!!!!!!!!!!! anyway usa is an awesome team and is bound to win many more games to come(: good luck usa and anyone who supports them. ps. to anyone else im not trying to be mean im just saying usa rocks(:

  • I went to this game. Me and my friends traveled to Nashville from St. Louis and back in one day/night. There was a pretty good atmosphere for the game, especially at this one bar. I had a Good time.

  • Same here except I came from Virginia. We went from the game straight to school the next day.

  • I'm gonna tell yall one thing...I'm not being an ass or anything but the passion here to central american countries for soccer is less. Listen to the crowd at the goals, and then switch vids to El Salvador vs. USA, and listen to the crowd at the goals...big difference!

  • Luckily the US doesn't claim to have the most rabid fans in the world. Europe and the Americas have much more intense atmospheres but considering where US soccer was just 20 years ago, this is pretty outstanding.

  • yeah. if we have fans we are doing alright.

  • I was there in Sam's army it was pretty awesome.

  • Well Estadio Cuscatlán (El Salvador) holds about 45-55k people (wiki tends to say both..).. and it's fit for soccer atmospehre and viewing where NFL stadiums (Like Nashville) tend to be more wide open and spread out, making it harder to really have a loud roar when it's about half capacity (Since there is almost nobody on the top bowls, with the view, can't blame em)

  • Title shouldn't be MNT should use country, U.S.A. some foreign viewers may not realize the MNT means mens national team. Maybe U.S.A. (MNT)

Great video, can't wait for the world cup 2010.

  • Hey check out my video response its the second one!!

  • el salvador is not trinidad we gonna win here trust me and usa can play only over the top high balls

  • my squad if i'm coach starting XI gk-howard lb-spector lcb-bocanegra rcb-onyewu rb-churundolo dm-bradley rm-demspey lm-beasley am-donovan fw-altidore fw-kenny cooper (needs a call up)
  • Altidore played a terrific game and you can tell he has learned alot from villareal plus donovan actually looked like a world class player too bad he is back in the states he should stay overseasso he can be a multidimensional player.

  • as a caribbean native, I mourne the defeat for Trinidad. I know that the US and Mexico are expected to qualify, being that Jamaica is not in the final round I want Trinidad to go to the world cup as a Caribbean Team.

  • viva altidore!!nuevo jugador del xerez!!viv jerez!!

  • as a mexican american im glad there are hispanics on the team like bocanegra and torres.hope we qualify and kick ass

    GO USA

  • As a Lithuanian American I'm glad there are Hispanics on the team! America is the melting pot, we need all kinds to properly represent this country. Boca has always been solid for us.

Torres has shown great, great things at Pachuca and his passing set up both our goals in El Salvador. He deserves more mins.

  • good game by both sides next time we need dwight yorke on the field and he will be there for our game in costa rica

  • What is Dwight these days, like 93 years old?

And GustavoCla, why would they have not fielded their strongest team, this was a vital match?

  • i was there at this match.....the crowd was one of the best i have ever seen

  • Me too, I was right behind the goal

  • 28000 at the gane, and thy did a horrible job of advertising here in nashville or they might have had 40000

  • Chitown?? did u see that ball he played to Altdore at 1:26.....kid is playing one of the hardest positions, and he's got the fight and nasty vision...wasn't he the player of the match vs. mexico?

  • where was this game held guys

  • LP Field

    Nashville, Tennessee

  • Very very good the USA, you have a best level/standard that the Belgium in the football soccer LOL, the Belgium is bad in the football soccer like in all the sport LOL LOL LOL.

  • Not necessarily. It's a good indicator on how well the team is meshing and how they will do against good national teams (the CONCACAF region isn't high on quality) and nothing more. Confederations Cup isn't going to make or break the USMNT.

  • bob bradley needs to go, and he needs to put his son as an attacking mid. so he can get more of his trademark garbage goals and less likely to commit dangerous fouls..plus bradley kept a lot of players with yellow card on the field before using his sub, when the game was already over.

  • Thats not true. No one cares about the Confederations cup and Europe and South america have the option to send no team if they want

  • Usually they send their first teams, like they did in 2005.

  • lol Trinidad's defence was HORRIBLE!! They can't mark a guy if their lives depended on it.

Altidore is pretty average, but he had a good game

That 3rd goal was a joke - lucky

  • 2:40

prolly should be added to all the soccer blooper youtube videos

  • Yo come on guys! you are forgetting the most underrated footballer in America! BRIAN CHING. this guy is great off the ball and a beast with it. He's very selfless and a true team player. you guys should definitely check out his play next time.

  • Landon looks amazing, just starting his prime. Overall, good team performance. This just might be it. We'll see when we play the big boys.

  • he should have stayed overseas with bayern munich where he can become a better player than on the damn galaxy! hes doing well because he played overseas!

  • Hello There!

  • Nash. Tennes = Future MLS team ^_^

  • Dont u mess with America!

    USA!

    USA!

    USA!

  • even though jozy is the bombbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb im the one that feels so blondeeeee

  • first goal = perfection

  • USA USA USA lol. =)

  • Bradely was playing out of position this game as well.

  • With the way Donovan was passing and moving the ball I would give him player of the game but you can't beat a hat trick. Altidore/Donovan FTW

  • Jesus the D# of TNT sucked hard...oh my god :D

  • 1:18 , that wasnt even close lol

  • comedy version of football or "soccer" as you call it

  • #17 is great player. His second goal is definitely world class

    He should go to europe

  • LOL OMG u americans are talking about ur international team competing in the world cup, u clearly have no chance. On this videa you yanks are going crazy over a 3-0 win over trinidad LOLOLOLOLMAO!!!!! u guys will fail fail fail!!!!

  • Go Seattle Sounders

  • It is about time Bradley played a solid and true 4-4-2 and played aggressive!!!! Donovan was the man of the match, outside of Altidore (I do wanna see Davies out there as well), and Gooch is still a beast and his touch has improved. If the US keeps the strong/dominate mentality they will make some waves in the WC. WEll done Beasley!!!

  • was there parallel with 2nd goal!

sickest thing I have ever seen!

  • Jozy Altidore is the future of USA soccer

  • Outstanding performance by our boys! Altidore was very impressive with the hat trick as was Donovan in setting up the goals. If Altidore can continue improve in terms of the mental and physical aspects of the game, he will be the real deal.

As long as the guys can stay humble and not try to act like they're the shit on the international stage, they can make some noise at the Confederations Cup and of course the World Cup. Let's go USA!

  • I was there!!!

  • Great game I had a blast...it was well worth the ten hour round trip to go and witness

  • Yeah USA!!! that's the way to play....great job guys!

  • hey la liga give jozy some effing playing time already you chumps.

  • what bo bradley needs to do is keep beasley on the side as a midfielder take out pablo put in Fransisco Torres take out bradley put don in the middle and keep Demps on the side our defense is solid already. OH!!! and he needs to start playing Freddy that dude and jozy are unstopable

  • why the hell does Mr. Vigo not play Jozy at Xerez? it's bullshit. at least give him a shot. he's scored 4 goals in the last 2 games. come on now.

  • uhhh idk about u Chitownboy1023 but bradley first is the coachs son and hes good he wouldnt play if he suked and second if u remmeber he scored the two winning goals against mexico not long ago so yea

  • Great game, I think we know who our forward is going to be now. All around great game for the US though time from start of 2nd half until the 2nd goal was not so good but final result is what matters. GO USA!!!

  • I loved watching this match.

    Thank you.

    U-S-A!

  • Bradley is not an attacking midfielder. He shouldn't be there. Mastroeni solidifies the defensive midfield. Beasley is not strong enough physically to play left back. Against any European team, he'd be way out-muscled. I'd put Adu in for Bradley, but we all know Daddy won't sit him. BS!

  • Landon Donovan was by far the player of the game

  • The Yanks are coming, the Yanks are coming...

  • I like the highlights with just crowd noise.

  • that second goal was NICE

  • Brilliant football boys. You all were awesome. Congrats on the hat-trick Jozy!

  • wtf is MNT!?! It's USA lol.

  • Lol Bradley sucks how could this guy even play? The team would be much stronger without him.

  • Did you even see the Mexico game?

Unless of course you're talking about the dad, either way you're wrong.

  • You don't know shit Michael Bradley is the best player on the team...He is one of the best US players in Germany for his team don't talk based on one performance

  • he always has to have a yellow in 1 out of 3 games he plays if its not his mouth that gets him one its his unintelligent fouls when he loses the ball and dangerously tackles that player!

  • Bradley doesn't suck, didn't you see him in the Mexico game two months back? He can play, and he's still a quality player, both with the NT and with Mönchengladbach.

  • Chitownboy you are an idiot.

  • Bradley who scored 2 goals against mexico? He's better then Kljestan and more dependable then Beasley these days.

  • Do you watch him regularly. How long have you been following the sport? Keep your worthless opinions in Chicago.

  • great job boys! we played a very strong game, i'm feeling good about our team this time around

  • omg at 4:34 that 2nd camera guy i swear just popped up outta nowhere!!!!!

  • First 2 goals were very nice. Everyone knows Jozy has da skillz. Howard is waaay better in goal than Guzan. The US players don't have enough camaraderie, though. Maybe cuz they are so separated all over the world. Too bad our best can't stay in our own national league...yet.

  • Jozy!

  • Jozy YOU ARE THE MAN!

  • I admitt that Jozy is going to be a world class striker someday, but for American Media to hype him up to be better than McBride, its still to early, i mean its against T&T....i just hope he doesnt get so hyped, he'd be another freddy adu

  • Bro freddy adu has the most skill out of any US player...he will end up being our best player in the future....just watch

  • That may be true but Altidore and Torres are tearing it up NOW.

  • Anybody who thinks Freddy Adu WON'T be one of the most amazing players to ever play for the United States is absolutely insane - the kid is brilliant.

  • The game was amazing. The combination Donovan-Altidore was lethal. Keep it up guys!!! You're #1 and the GIANT of the area!!!

  • Yeah, he needs polish, 2 well taken goals and a lucky goal. Three goals in a WCQ. Bit harsh aren't ya ddamico? And by aren't ya, I mean, you are.

  • Differently overly critical but not fully incorrect. But to have nothing but criticism about a player that just became youngest U.S. player to score a hat-trick is silly. Jozy is far from a clinical striker but he is only 19 years of age! Six goals in nine games for the senior team is fanastic. He has more promise than any striker in the history of the country. During his prime he could very easily be starting for a top club and banging in tons of goals if he lives up to his potential.

  • Maybe.

    What happened to Adu man?

  • What a horrible pass by Michael Bradley for the 3rd goal!! Of course Donovan made the best of it!

  • anyone know where this game took place?

  • if you saw the beginning of the video, it said nashville, tenn.

  • nashville, tennessee

  • Nashville TN

  • wow, trinidad sucks defensively.

too much weed before the game?

  • GO USA!!

  • Jozy is our savior.

  • Very impressive display by Jozy. He's exactly what the MNT needs up front, someone that could put the ball in the net, has good speed and a physical presence. He's still young but under the tutelage of Pellegrini at Villareal he has improved tremendously.

  • South Africa here we come¨!!

  • Jozy Jozy Jozy Jozy Jozy! Congrats the the Man Child! But the US has got to work on it's finishing. Should have been 5/6-0. But happy to have the 3 points and a Mexico loss.

  • I am glad that Howard was between the sticks instead of Guzan

  • i was there....saw the last two of jozys shots....incredible

  • Feel a little bad for the T & T keeper.

Looked like he had a pretty good night, for a guy who knew going in he was going to get lit up. Then he lets in that lame late goal.

  • Congrats to the boys on a great result! Glad to see Jozy scoring so much and playing well despite everything he has been dealing with in Spain. That is a good sign he mentally can handle the rough parts of the game. Go on Yanks!!

  • jozy jozy jozy. you need a lot more touch and finesse, mate. only the second goal was good. some strikers only need the half chance. poor jozy needs multiple good chances to score. wow, he needs polish. out.

  • are you out of your damn mind?! or is this sarcastic? The kid just scored a hat trick in a WCQ. He's 19!! He's a man child! Are you seriously going to take this moment to point out flaws in his young game? Get real.

  • haters haters haters he played amazing hes such a unquie player and hes just 19 years old yes hes one of the best on the team

  • dude the kid's 19 years old. Give him time to grow and become a good striker, no body is going to excell right off the bat. I thought he was good in this game, and both the 1st and the 2nd goals where great, the 3rd...hey, keeper mistake but I'm not complaining...donovan also having 3 assists is good too, finally he starts to play like we know he can and not like he's overrated. GO USA!

  • hat trick during wc qualifier against a previous qualified team.. give him a damn break.

  • or consistent playing time.

  • U got to REMEMBER he hasnt played for his clubs since DECEMBER...sure he had some rust..and its a shame he didnt score 4 or 5 actually...but you can see the potential cant you?

  • the job has been done.....that's what matters

  • unlike those european strikers who know how to score 3 goals with only 1 or a 'half chance'. good god are you ignorant.
