  • Why do these jeep keep catching on fire?

  • jeepskool? pretty sure the only thing i learned from this video is that you dont know what to do with a jeep.

  • no son buenos tiradores,se quemo por las balas incandiarias pero no le daban donde ,los puntos estrategicos, que maletas de tiradores

  • Why an XJ? They don't make them any more much to the disappointment to many Jeepers like myself. If you really felt like destroying an XJ - why not use the 'worthless' 84-86 models?

I would have gladly donated my Land Rover Discovery to the cause. I was disillusioned when I thought the Disco would be a good XJ/ZJ replacement - it wasn't. I've since purchased another XJ ('98) and I'm happy again.

  • @AKJeeper We are accepting donations for this year's Forth of July celebration. We can make an exception and use a Land Rover instead of a Jeep.

  • Why not shoot at a car that does not run? Waste of money. Plenty of cars that you can blow up and nobody will use.

  • I WILL shoot whatever I want, whenever I want!

    I AM ROBOCON DAMN IT!

  • Lame.

    Just like Kelly, and JeepSkool.

  • i swallowed hard while watching this... how could you!! such a beautiful piece of machinery :(

  • @rossmantravis The first one is always the hardest...

  • poor shot and thats a waste

  • This was a senseless waste of a fine Jeep, no excuses, you could have at least given away to a guy at a homeless shelter or donated it to a school for shop class!?

    I give you a F-

  • @Darkyodajedi Many law enforcement officers utilized this vehicle for target practice before it was cleared from the range. Not much was left of it when they were done. The world is a safer place because of this sacrifice.

  • @searsbrothers Bull, and if you shoot, you know that. If you're in law enforcement, that's an even bigger joke. That's a rather large non-moving target to be "learning" on.

Lame. If a Jeep still runs, go wheel it until it dies.

  • makes me want to put some armor on my xj......

  • Why an XJ?? That's so sad :( next time use a ZJ, nobody cares about them!

  • @braxsbayou We killed the slow XJ that kept getting stuck this day. We were tired of recovering it. LOL

  • @searsbrothers her herherhehreh ur so kool man herhreh

  • @searsbrothers Yeah right! My XJ whips on everything I have ran against. Mine only has a 3.5" lift, LSD in the rear, locker in the front, and decent 255/70r15 tires.

  • Some Bondo and new tires.. thats all she needs. I own a Jeep XJ, and I can probably bet that even if you dropped a grenade under her hood, that 4.0 would still be kicking. Might be smokin, leaking, flaming.. but it would kick lol.

  • its ok everyone, she still runs! thanks right, nothing kills a jeep!

  • It is still good. Wink wink a little duct tape here some baling wire there and a wad or two of bazooka. yeah it's still good.

  • I love America, because you can do this :). One I'm gonna go there again and shoot some guns.

  • You americans are screwed in the head, what a waste in my country we would take those guns to you head for something that stupid

  • tear fall from eye.

  • was it beyond repair or something?

  • Why? Could have just given that to me so I can get around town...

  • ppl are stupid

  • dang

  • the only way to get rid of a jeep

  • There is one other way... The US Govt - Cash for Clunkers Program. At least this way it went out with dignity - kinda like a Viking Funeral but without the water.

  • why couldnt you do like a ford tempo or something?...i bet if you kicked it over itd still fire up :-P theyve been rumored to be bulletproof

  • Looks fun but why a Cherokee? Couldnt blow up a Liberty or a Compass?

  • if you had to use a jeep it should've been a grand cherokee lol

  • i agree

  • if you had to use a jeep you should've used a grand cherokee lol

  • U guys have a website.... Wayne County boys looking into gettin Muddy somewhere new... Been to wellsville, yankee lake.... Looking for other new places....

  • Our website is right on the video - JEEPSKOOL

  • Would have been better minus the lame pyro.

  • why would you do that

  • Holy crap I didnt even know I was on Youtube. Im the guy that can be seen in the striped shirt shooting the jeep!! And anyone with negative comments are just wishing they had it like we do!!

  • You're a star!

  • Would it not make more sense to perhaps shoot something that wasn't your mascot in a sense.

  • We prefer to think of it as an "honorable DISCHARGE" of an old Jeep.

  • you might want to remove this video since it shows you committing a crime!! Burning tires is a felony. I'm not a hippie but that's messed up, black smoke in the air and toxic fluids in the ground....thanks man

  • Our carbon foot print is still less than one of Al Gore's trips in his private jet. There were no chemicals spilled - they all burned up. I won't approve your other comment due to the profanity. And why does everyone think that people are "rednecks" because they own guns?

  • burning tires is not a felony

  • I think the local law enforcement was in attendance also enjoying the show. We are good friends with them and they frequent our range. I'm sure they would have let us know if there was any issues.

  • nice trick. fill it full of gasoline before you shoot it. keeps the idiots entertained

  • You're just jealous

  • i know i am

  • q imbeciles... como quisiera poner a uno de ellos n lugar del jeep... eso si lo disfrutaria...PENDEJOS!!!!

  • go back across the border will ya

  • Not sure if it occured to you to maybe use Jap junk instead of a good American verhicle? Still pretty cool though

  • This Jeep was junk - tranny was shot, engine knocking, and frame rotten - next stop was salvage yard anyways.

  • where is this place exactly?? be nice if near the east coast i'll bring some jeepers out for trail rides and gunfire hell yeah!!!!!

  • propaine tank inside huh?

  • looks and sounds like a 50 cali machine gun

  • gotta love the old Browning M2

  • Cool video guys, but i think the guy shooting needs some more practice!! alot of the shots seemed to miss!

you guys don't know how lucky you are, here in the U.K. if we did something like that, we'd get life in prison!!

  • Can't really see the gun in this video - its very big and used by the army in WW2 - and hard to hit the little Jeep. To shoot that gun here legally - it took many years of legal red tape.

  • If i ever get the chance to go to the states, i'll come and see you guys, i'd sure love to see that gun in action for real!

  • It doesn't come out too much - very expensive to use. Its about $10 per shot. That Jeep probably had $1500 shot into it.

  • Yeah, but worth every penny!!

    Thanks for showing the video

  • The main idea is to drive traffic to our website. It worked. We have many members now and many people show up for our monthly trail rides on this private property with 100 yard rifle range.

  • if i were you i would make extrem donut until it explode ggggrrrr

  • we ran it until the tranny gave out then towed it out to its final resting place.

  • May god curse the soul of the man who brought himself to do this to that beautiful machine.

  • hahaha :p

  • danggg!

the only way to take down a jeep.

  • Robocon is doing a great job promoting offroading. I don't see a bunch of other guys sticking their necks out there trying to get events off the ground. Even if the trails are quote "lame", Jeepskool has been a huge success introducing numerous new people to offroading. Thank you Robocon for giving us one litter-free, family friendly venue in the state for our offroading enjoyment. Robocon is the PT Barnum of offroading, providing us with the "Greatest Show on Dirt."

  • I think Robocon is doing a great job seeing how JeepSkool is a relatively new event. And if you had about 200 people show up - you'd have your hands full too trying to make sure everyone was having a good time. You wouldn't have much time for playing in the dirt. And for the price of admission - it barely pays for the diesel in the bulldozer & track hoe - he's not making money on this.

  • Nice image that this gives the offroad community. With all of the different groups that are trying to shut down trails, it'd be really nice if people who claim to be responsible off road enthusiasts would try to put forth a more positive image!

  • This was done in a controlled environment with the audience at a safe distance. The guy firing the "big gun" is an expert that shows law enforcement how to use their weapons. He has been doing this for many years and in no way would put anyone in harms way.

  • this is obviously on a closed rifle range. given the fact its a .50 cal full auto. maybe if u werent hugging so many trees you would under stand

  • This is a Class 3 Closed rifle range privately owned by professionals. There was no chance for anyone to get hurt. It looks like we were close only because I placed a unmanned camera close to the action. The only thing hurt was the Jeep. And for the treehuggers - the Jeep was recycled!

  • No tree hugger here. Just a guy who's tired of my favorite places getting shut down by tree huggers. Ever since they got Tellico, I try to not give them any more ammo to use against us than necessary.

  • This is a private property with a Class 4 gun range. Its all perfectly legal here. We just have to let the fire department know what's going on. I think the local deputy sheriff even popped a few rounds into it.

  • This was a great time, Thanks for the video.
