Entertaining the masses that came to see The Drifters. He was and always be in my mind as one of the greatest vocalist that graced our world. A true legend in his own right.

This version of the song is way faster than the original from the record. I realise this is live but its like they are in a race. compare it with the record version posted by evilnette1970. Don't get me wrong, it's in tune and stuff but the speed is amazing, still good though.

This brings back so many great memories. A group of us after work would regularly make the 150 mile round trip to Ceasars Palace in Luton. A full floor Show Fabulous Compère and Johnny Moore leading the Drifters to cap it all CLASS All we get served up by Cowell and Co. now is .....yuk

im gonna be honest i listen to clubland a lot now but when i was younger i used to sing the drifters with my dad on the karaoke and listening to this now you can see the high standards of there music to todays electronicly modifyed music, but no matter what i listen to now i will always listen to the drifters

I'd say 1978 or 1979 since she said she has been in the industry 25 years.

So that makes it 1953-1954 which was about right.
