It is not permissible to say to an angel a Prophet or shaykh, whether alive or dead, “forgive my sin” or “help me against my enemy” or “heal my sick loved one” or “protect my family or my livestock” and the like.
Whoever asks *no matter who he is) is a mushrik who associates others with his Lord.
Allah (swt) says:
“And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof – then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed.” Surah 23: Ayah 117
"And who is more astray than one who calls on (invokes) besides ALLAH, such as will not answer him till the Day of Resurrection, and who are (even) unaware of their calls (invocations) to them? And when mankind are gathered (on the Day of Resurrection), they (false deities) will become their enemies and will deny their worshipping" Surah 46 : Verse 5-6
Aa'ishah (ra) and 'Abd-ALLAH (swt) ibn 'Abbaas (ra) said: "When (death) approached the Messenger (saw), he started to cover his face with a cloak of his. When he became distressed he lifted it from his face and said, "May ALLAH (swt) curse the Jews and the Christians, for they have taken the graves of their Prophets as places of worship." [The narrator said:] he was warning against doing what they did." (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 425; Muslim, 531).
And when it is said to them, "Follow what ALLAH (swt) has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that which we found our fathers doing." Even though their fathers understood nothing, nor were they guided? Surah 2 : Verse 170
And when it is said to them, "Come to what ALLAH (swt) has revealed and to the Messenger," they say, "Sufficient for us is that upon which we found our fathers." Even though their fathers knew nothing, nor were they guided? Surah 5 : Verse 104
Said bin Al-Musayyib reported from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (saw) said, "you should not undertake a special journey to visit any place of worship other than the three Mosques: the Sacred Mosque of Makkah, this mosque of mine (in Madinah), and Al-Aqsa Mosque (of Jerusalem)." Related by Bukhari, Muslim, and Abu Dawud..
Well by knowing this Hadith how can people undertake journey to visit graves, which are in other parts of the world like Baghdad, Ajmer, etc., for worshiping.
According to Islam, Prostration (sajdah) is to be rendered exclusively to ALLAH (swt) and Ta'waaf to the Holy Ka'bah. Jabir reported:
“The Prophet (saw) forbade the whitewashing of a grave, sitting on it, or erecting any structure on it.” ( Muslim, Nasa'i, Abu Daw'ud, and Tirmidhi.)
Are you indirectly saying that ALLAH (swt) lied, when He said, “This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.” Surah 5 : Verse 3
@expressiveification A headstone is not on a grave, and it's necessary. "Perfected your religion" perhaps refers to Quran, not Sunnah. After all, they are separate.
No special journeys? What if a mosque is of architectural / historical interest? Also, Dargah is a grave not a mosque.
Then you repeat the same accusation about worshipping people, dead people.
@hatloverxxx Headstone is necessary? Headstones derived from Judaism, did you know that? Genesis1 records Jacob erected a tombstone over the grave of his wife. Chrisitans later inepted crucifixes above graves. Nevertheless, lets not conveniently forget the erecting of structures on grave and even white washing graves let alone placing 15 tonnes of candles and flowers is forbidden.
Authentic hadiths as the Bukhari Muslim u dont believe? scroll above to Quranic verses.
@expressiveification You have no proof to say headstones were a Jewish invention. And also, they are necessary in my country, as a means of identifying a grave in a cemetery.
To quote you:
"Design of Grave: 1 hand span, completely plain, 1 stone to mark the head and another the feet FULLSTOP."
Then you say: "Headstone is necessary? Headstones derived from Judaism, did you know that?"
Also l said: "A headstone is NOT ON a grave, and it's necessary."
@hatloverxxx A mere small stone on TOP of the actual grave to mark the head of the deceased is ordained. Not above. I agree, presumed you meant the 1 tonne head stone "Above" the grave. Nevertheless, I think your friends at the Ajmer Dargah blow the headstone concept out of the water. I'm sure you'll agree.
They would want to spruce up this spectacle for the daily pilgrims and not to forget the glitzy Bollywood actresses and actors.
@hatloverxxx IF To kiss the stone is haram than why we kiss to the HAJRE ASWAD? IF TO MAKE the grave is HARAM than why we have made the Shrine pf HAZRAT Muhammad pcbu. this is the elevation of Auliyas and Prophets to whom u can never finish. ok they had offered lot of prayers only for Allah and RASOOL not for Jannat or jahanum but u do only for ur jannnat $ instead of convicts.
@alibuxmhr Look, don't make a fool of yourself. I've seen too many people like you. You don't read what's written, and you end up attacking someone on the same side as you. I was defending Ajmer.
@hatloverxxx Architectural history it certainly is,a formation of a shrine is clearly forbidden. Understand the statement that specially flocking to a grave is forbidden. Visiting graves for the purpose of calling upon their occupants, seeking their help, offering sacrifices to them and making vows to them is a major form of Shirk.
“And those who take Awliyya (protectors and helpers) besides him say, ‘We worship
them only that they may bring us near to ALLAH (swt).’”

And fear a Day (of Judgement) when a person shall not avail another, nor will intercession be accepted from him nor will compensation be taken from him nor will they be helped.
hey stupid people and retarded people, it is ok to go to any ziarat and pray. These people who say only ask God are wrong. you can ask somebody to pray for you or go to their grave. Go ask a wahabi, deobandi salafi to pray for you and instead they will shoot you (look what happened to Governor Salman Taseer) These extremists muslims do not worship God but worship guns, drugs and money. These stupid wahabi salafis rape their wives and make their kids jihadi killers
The quran says the awliya are alive in their graves. You're the real donkey. You seem to be a proponent of the wahabi cancer which is spreading throughout the world (courtesy saudi petrodollars.)
And fear a Day (of Judgement) when a person shall not avail another, nor will intercession be accepted from him nor will compensation be taken from him nor will they be helped.
@khanbahadur1 Who are YOU to say they are Allah's loved one's
We ALL are to be judged by Allah swt on the Day of Judgement. After the Prophet Muhammad pbuh died in his last sermon he declared the Quran is out Guidance and he the prophet is our example.
Now tell me why are you people making 20 feet graves decorated in Christmas Decoration and having dirty Hindu actors and actresses amongst the Muslims coming millions of miles away to see?? What is this?
@khanbahadur1 Did this "Auliya" have 24 hours surveillance in his heart+mind+Niyat in Islam. NO. ONLY Allah swt is the ALL JUDGER AND ALL KNOWER. Prophet Muhammad pbuh left the true message as ordained by Allah swt for the Ummah to follow. FROM THEN everyone in Allah's eyes is equal. However ONLY Allah knows which are closer to him by true Ibaadah and good deeds.
What you are doing is shirk . A mother will turn her child away on the Day of Judgement what will these "Auliya" do for you? NOTHING
@khanbahadur1 Where in the Quran does it say make shrines for the Auliya? Give me at least one verse.
NO ONE is alive in the Grave, you have NO knowledge of your deen brother. THE SOUL is in al-Barzakh (the period between a person's death and the Day of Resurrection), when it has departed from the body and separated from it.
Purpose of Grave: Reminder of YOUR death
Design of Grave: 1 hand span, completely plain, 1 stone to mark the head and another the feet FULLSTOP.
@expressiveification Listen to me carefully my brother b/c we are talking about the Islam , and Islam is the complete religion in the world there is no an other ,you have recited the Holy QURAN,that Almighty GOD says about the AULIYAS,that if they are dieing it does not mean that , they are gone away but u must have to understand that they are martyrd and martyrd means alive and
@alibuxmhr When u are going to graveyard u must have to say ASLAM O Alaikun Ya AHLILQOBURE it means in urdu A kabar wale insan tuj pe ALLAH ki rehmat pare and who will reply ? who is listening. and secondly listen that, at the Day of Judgment U WILL GO TO Hazrat MUHAMMAD PBUH and ill say O my DEAR Nabi plz save me from the hell and Qayamat b/c Im guilty, even ist u had gone to ur father Ab UL Bashar but he had not helped u , u will come to my dear Nabi PCBUH.
@khanbahadur1 Our Beloved Prophet (saw) commanded: “Do not make an idol of my grave so that it’s been worshiped.” On another occasion, Our Beloved Prophet (saw) said: “O ALLAH (swt)! Do not let my grave become an idol which will be worshiped.” Even worshiping the grave of Prophet (saw) is prohibited, then on what basis are they worshiping the graves of the “Auliya” be permissible??
Brothers and Sisters, think about it, seriously, before it’s too late.
@Expressivenification they r/not putting boob in the dead person, like we do to are prayer place.wake up still stuck in shirk or not shirk, first who are u/is ALLAH GIVE U/RIGHT TO TELL ANYBODY CALL SHIRK,MR LOOK INSIDE U/FIRST,U THINK UR/BETTER THAN ANYBODY .STOP CALL PEOPLE SHIRK
@AKANDANI2 Who's putting a boob in a dead person? You feeling alright today?
This dirty act of Muslims and Hindus and Sikhs side by side worshiping graves and calling upon the dead for blessings and good luck is 1000% SHIRK!!!!
I BEAR WITNESS I TOLD THIS FOOL BUT HE NEITHER LISTENED NOR LEARNED.
@expressiveification U THINK U/THE ONLY PERSON FOLLOW THE ISLAM,LOOK AT U/R NOTHING I MEAN WE R/NOTHING ,THIS IS PUNISHMENT FROM ALLAH TO ALL MUSLIM PEOPLE.STOP CALL NAY BODY SHIRK OR OTHER WORD,ALLAH KNOW EVERY THINK LET ALLAH TO BE JUDGE .NO U/.BEFORE CALL ANY BODY LOOK AT U/R SELF U THINK UR/BETTER THEM ?ALLAH TO BE JUDGE ,WE BUZY CALL NAME AND WE FORGET THE PURE ISLAM.
@AKANDANI2 Allah knows everything. Allah is the Judge and I think the devotees of Ajmer have forgot this pure Islam you fondly talk of. My brother, if you want pure Islam then pick up the Quran and read. I am not better, and Allah swt is my witness I advise you to fear Allah and stay away from these innovations and Shirk. Allah has ALREADY left you guidance - Al Quran.
Face reality if u continue to believe this form of Shirk you will follow the herd which is currently plunged in darkness.
@AKANDANI2 Our Beloved Prophet (saw) commanded: “Do not make an idol of my grave so that it’s been worshiped.” On another occasion, Our Beloved Prophet (saw) said: “O ALLAH (swt)! @maulvi69 if u r a muslim just by saying this u hv done big kufr.if u r not a muslim then its ok for u.if u r a muslim then ask forgiveness to allah and come to the right path pf islam.in the quran allah says so many times not to all any1 besieds allah.look now prianka chopra get protection by muslims to this shirk places in india.allah either give them hidaya or give them ur punishment because i can see these shirk anymore
@maulvi69 Why ask a dead to pray for you? Nonsensical
They are dead, they cannot become your Waseelah! Aoothubillah.
Does Allah swt need a secretary? A dead person to pass on messages? NO
ASTAGFIRULAH. Allah has no partners, and everyone will be judged EQUALLY on the day of Judgement. How can YOU as a Human give another dead Human the Power.
Allah is the Al Raheem and Al Kareem.
Why Ask deobandi salafi to pray for you. Get off your lazy backside, correct your ways and PRAY FOR YOURSELF!!!

@hatloverxxx Wrong. Peace? No. A graveyard for YOU as a Muslim is to acknowledge your death. According to the Quran and authentic Hadith Bukhari Graveyards were not marked, later Allah swt gave command that the grave be plain but marked for the living to see REALITY. A Grave is a WAKE UP call for you/us to remember the hereafter. The grave holds NO soul, the souls are in al-Barzakh., if you need a day for celebration and unity do it in you homes or streets on the 2 Eids that occur every year.
@expressiveification I thought a graveyard was for people to bury the dead, not for "wake up calls". In fact, most mobile phones can now be set to give a wake up call. Alternatively you can buy an independent device, called an "alarm clock".
See reality? In a graveyard? Very vague.
Souls are in Barzakh? Barzakh actually means "grave".
The Chisti holidays are innovations, but not religious innovations - you don't have to do them. So it's OK.
@hatloverxxx Barzakh does not mean grave. Nothing wrong with visiting graves, point is? The grave at your shrine is far from being marked - in fact that's an understatement. Don't Shias also not believe in the authenticity of the Bukhari hadiths? Graves were destroyed by the Saudi's to prevent them from being worshiped, as we see quite nicely an example set by an Hindu actress whom wishes for increased stardom with new men .
Hope your mobile phone wakes you up in time before it's too late.
@hatloverxxx Very big deal. The D.Ajmer website compiled by the Business Men is absolutely sickening, it shows actions of Muslims with Hindus engaging in Shirk -(Shirk is worst then Murder, Prostitution, Adultery, as these acts can be forgiven apart from Shirk). The Website details the routine including lighting candles and offering Flowers to the Grave EVERYDAY - sounds like a Hindu temple to me?!. We don't do this In Madina where our beloved prophets buried or Makkah - Because IT IS FORBIDDEN
@expressiveification Ok so here is your task in life: Reinstate the pure teachings of Moinuddin Chisti, which showed love for people of all religions, but without any "innovation".
Still frowning? What's wrong? Oh, you're still not happy? You don't have to label someone as a "kafir" to get through the day, you know.
@hatloverxxx In our prayer we recite the verse given below 17 times or more a day –
Iya ka nahbudu wa iya ka nastaeen
You (Alone) we worship, and you (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything). Surah 1: Verse 5.
Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): "How do you worship besides ALLAH (swt) something which has no power either to harm or to benefit you? But it is ALLAH (swt) Who is the All-Hearer, All-Knower." Surah 5 : Verse 76.
@hatloverxxx When the Chistiyyah (you) are corrected you take offence and the paranoia sets in and causes rebelliousness. Your not v.religious.. I can see that. You are responsible for guiding those going astray as you will be asked what did you do to remedy this, cant just shrug it off and sweep it under the carpet.
@hatloverxxx Our Beloved Prophet (saw) commanded: “Do not make an idol of my grave so that it’s been worshiped.” On another occasion, Our Beloved Prophet (saw) said: “O ALLAH (swt)! The acts people do perform at graves are, some of the highlights,
Making ruku of the graves.
Making sajdah to the graves.
Making ta'waaf of the graves.
Kissing the graves.
Decorating the graves.
Placing foodstuff at the graves.
Arranging festivals and fairs at the graves.
Tying threads and putting lockets near the graves thinking it fulfill their wish.

hey stupid people and retarded people, it is ok to go to any ziarat and pray.

What is this?
expressiveification 2 weeks ago
NOTHING
expressiveification 2 weeks ago
@khanbahadur1 Where in the Quran does it say make shrines for the Auliya? Give me at least one verse.
NO ONE is alive in the Grave, you have NO knowledge of your deen brother. THE SOUL is in al-Barzakh (the period between a person's death and the Day of Resurrection), when it has departed from the body and separated from it.
Purpose of Grave: Reminder of YOUR death
Design of Grave: 1 hand span, completely plain, 1 stone to mark the head and another the feet FULLSTOP.
Change your ways.

@expressiveification The graves of the saints are places of peace right?. So it's fine to visit them, right?
Nobody said they would pray to the saints.
Ajmer brings together people of all faiths, in the worship of One God.
The non-Muslims who visit Ajmer, do so because they worship the One God.
So what's the big deal?
Peace.
hatloverxxx 1 week ago
@hatloverxxx Wrong. Peace? No. A graveyard for YOU as a Muslim is to acknowledge your death. According to the Quran and authentic Hadith Bukhari Graveyards were not marked, later Allah swt gave command that the grave be plain but marked for the living to see REALITY. A Grave is a WAKE UP call for you/us to remember the hereafter. The grave holds NO soul, the souls are in al-Barzakh., if you need a day for celebration and unity do it in you homes or streets on the 2 Eids that occur every year.
expressiveification 1 week ago
@expressiveification I thought a graveyard was for people to bury the dead, not for "wake up calls". In fact, most mobile phones can now be set to give a wake up call. Alternatively you can buy an independent device, called an "alarm clock".
See reality? In a graveyard? Very vague.
Souls are in Barzakh? Barzakh actually means "grave".
The Chisti holidays are innovations, but not religious innovations - you don't have to do them. So it's OK.
hatloverxxx 1 week ago
@hatloverxxx Barzakh does not mean grave. Nothing wrong with visiting graves, point is? The grave at your shrine is far from being marked - in fact that's an understatement. Don't Shias also not believe in the authenticity of the Bukhari hadiths? Graves were destroyed by the Saudi's to prevent them from being worshiped, as we see quite nicely an example set by an Hindu actress whom wishes for increased stardom with new men .
Hope your mobile phone wakes you up in time before it's too late.
expressiveification 1 week ago
@expressiveification Also, if a grave is for "seeing reality", why not mark them from the start? Who decides on an "authentic" hadith, you?
The Prophet (Blessings of Allah be upon him, and Peace) visited his own mother's grave, maybe it was marked.
May a house / toilets be built on a graveyard? Graves need to be marked. And the graves of Saints remind visitors of the lives of Saints.
Wikipedia: "Grave of ... [Prophet's] mother, bulldozed and set alight in 1998." Bye.
hatloverxxx 1 week ago
@hatloverxxx Very big deal. The D.Ajmer website compiled by the Business Men is absolutely sickening, it shows actions of Muslims with Hindus engaging in Shirk -(Shirk is worst then Murder, Prostitution, Adultery, as these acts can be forgiven apart from Shirk). The Website details the routine including lighting candles and offering Flowers to the Grave EVERYDAY - sounds like a Hindu temple to me?!. We don't do this In Madina where our beloved prophets buried or Makkah - Because IT IS FORBIDDEN
expressiveification 1 week ago
@expressiveification Ok so here is your task in life: Reinstate the pure teachings of Moinuddin Chisti, which showed love for people of all religions, but without any "innovation".
Still frowning? What's wrong? Oh, you're still not happy? You don't have to label someone as a "kafir" to get through the day, you know.

@expressiveification You just make rules up, please admit it to yourself. I don't want to talk any more, but admit to yourself, e.g.:
1. Headstones are haram
2. Except when it's the headstone that i say is halal
3. i.e. a "mere small stone" on top of the grave, but not on top of the grave (??)
You are confuse matters & interpret Quran & Sunnah in conflcting ways. Tell yourself this is wrong:
Wikipedia: "Grave of ... [Prophet's] mother, bulldozed and set alight in 1998."
hatloverxxx 1 week ago
@hatloverxxx In our prayer we recite the verse given below 17 times or more a day –
Iya ka nahbudu wa iya ka nastaeen
You (Alone) we worship, and you (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything). Surah 1: Verse 5.
Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): "How do you worship besides ALLAH (swt) something which has no power either to harm or to benefit you? But it is ALLAH (swt) Who is the All-Hearer, All-Knower." Surah 5 : Verse 76.
expressiveification 1 week ago
@expressiveification Objection: relevance?
I'm not saying worship Saints, nor worship the Prophet. If the Chisti followers have begun doing it, then correct them.
But all l see is that people like you want to smash the Chistiyyah completely, not correct them. And you want far worse things too:
Wikipedia: "Grave of ... [Prophet's] mother, bulldozed and set alight in 1998."
I'm not v. religious, but l'd hate to be the person responsible for that on the Day of Judgement.
hatloverxxx 1 week ago
@hatloverxxx When the Chistiyyah (you) are corrected you take offence and the paranoia sets in and causes rebelliousness. Your not v.religious.. I can see that. You are responsible for guiding those going astray as you will be asked what did you do to remedy this, cant just shrug it off and sweep it under the carpet.
