The poster has nothing that pops out and says, "This is Twilight." except for the text. Take that away and all you're left with is a picture some random person took. Contrast this with the teaser poster for The Hunger Games that was just released which tries really hard to be familiar to people who read the book like myself with the flaming mockingjay pin and "May the odds be ever in your favor" on the top of the poster. That is how you properly tease the audience.

I wouldn't watch this unless someone payed for my ticket, because no way in hell I'll pay $10 to waste my time on this movie. The HP Deathly Hallows poster is amazing. I love how it has Harry and Voldemort facing each other, with the Elder Wand in the middle. The poster is just overall EPIC. Aside from the Breaking Dawn poster, the most.. uneventful-looking (if you know what I mean) poster I've ever seen...

... I kinda feel sorry for them now, because it could be their boss's fault or something. Maybe their boss just came in and said "Do a teaser poster for Breaking Dawn. Make it look like the one for that Harry Potter movie."
I mean, they wouldn't have much to work with, would they?

But on the bright side, no brain-dead Bella or creepy stalker Edward glaring at the poor viewers.

Breaking Dawn is just going to be criticized by the critics. Nothing happens in the book. I was not surprised by this poster it just shows what the series is. (which it just shallow). The fans are going to see it otherwise. These two films will not be remembered like Harry Potter so...

@WriterfromNowhere I just regained my faith in humanity when my mom told me one of the students she was counciling got beat up, but held no grudge and invited the bully to family activities with him, because he knew he only did it out of peer pressure. I actually felt Jesus' message got throught to somebody and have hope again. Now I see this poster, and its slowly taking that away from me.

I love how with that poster, they try to emphasize how little they actually have to do in order to make people buy their shit. because they know that people are dumbasses, and that people would love and worship and buy their shit, even if there were just a pile of shit on their shitty poster.

That's the sort of thing we'd have to do for an art project, just using computers. Or something a kid makes when they're learned how to use photoshop/paint. What an idiotic thing. Still, at least the awfulness now matches the actual quality of the film.

@PurpleFunnyChocolate Oh, absolutely. That was a point I actually forgot to make in the video. High School art students do that sort of thing and only because they have limited resources. Hell, I've seen fake movie posters on devinART better than this!
