  • Can't stand it when they think I'm pro-rape when I say I'm anti-abortion. We should work together preventing unwanted pregnancies. I also believe we ought to discipline our men more on bad behavior, such as: rape, harassment, violence..etc. I know I'll get comments back about how I'm wrong & and I'm a religious bigot, bla bla..but I'm speaking on behalf of the pro-life side, we're not out to get women, but help all people..not just one person. Abortion doesn't = the stop of rape & violence

  • @Trustworthyalma

Forcing a woman to give birth against her will is a form of violence.

  • @loner1878 A-fucking-men.

Although, there is life at stake with the unborn child, so there is some level of violence. That's where the debate about abortion hinges- is the woman or the unborn fetus the one with the greater rights.

  • @Justamessage30

How can it not be the woman's rights?

  • I love how this scene contrasts with Vera's handling. Note how bright and sterile the room is, how cold the man's manner is. He drags in the male agenda (what about the father?) and MONEY. Vera sees women with no muss, no fuss. Overall, I'm ambivalent about abortion but I resist the fact that men have always tried to legislate or dictate what a woman does with her body.

  • She won a golden globe for Happy-Go-Lucky (2008) in which she played Poppy.

  • An amazing book is the L-Shapped room it gives the take of a woman who is pregnant at this time. It's an amazing book and give the accounts brilliantly. It's beautifully written and one of my favs. The way the character is treated is terrible. Thank goodness we now live in an age where women have a choice. Men have always had it easy when it comes to pregnancy! Their treatment of raped women in these days is shocking!

  • the sound is too low - it's all hiss... - how can I boost the signal?

  • if you put in headphones and turn the volume up its perfect :D

  • It is quiet. I put in headphones but it was still too quiet on my laptop. So I've plugged in speakers & turned the volume up completely - and still I can only hear it when I have the speaker right next to my ear. Laptops are quieter than computers, though.

    Thanks for uploading this movie.
