After watching the video in 2008 I purchased a white R3 in 2009. What a ride and outstanding climbing machine I couldn't be more pleased! Thanks for the recommendation and review Cyclo-CLUB!
i think carbons combi of lightness, stiffness and comfort cant be beaten, but carbon isnt strong as steel/ti as off-plane inpacts, so if you rarely crash then carbon is THE choice
dude...it's not supposed to look good it's supposed to fly. Check out the Cervelo P4. All Cervelo bikes are built to be utilitarian and not flashy. Bash Felt. Not Cervelo.
It accelerates and climbs like a rocket AND is a comfy ride. I bought a marginaly smaller size than i need (52cm) because I wanted snappy handling, etc. The smaller size gives rise to two issues: Toe overlap (just have to be aware of it in tight slow speed turns) and clearance for 750ml bottles I had to use alloy cages rather than carbon!! big deal. If you can afford one - Buy one.
This bike has had great reviews in the UK press. I would buy one if it fit me, but the top tube is too short. Thankfully the p3 now comes with 3t pro funda forks.
I just bought one, but had the same fitting problems; they were due to the fact that the model comes with the 3T doric seatpost in 2009 (with no setback), while it was delivered in the past with a set back seat post. So buy another seat post with set back: problem solved. (there must be lots of people with this problem in 2009!). I bought the FSA K-force SB25 seat post.

Plush and stiff .... at the same time. Possible? Maybe not 'till this bike. Because that's what it is. Plush and stiff.

WOw that is a VERy flattering review! Together with it being my club's de facto bike of choice, I think my next upgrade will be a Cervelo! :D

Is that an Optic Nerve Halogyn sunglass that you're wearing in your rides?

my current top-tube is 625mm horizontal, and my next one will be 615mm, so theres no way any cervelo will fit, which is a shame cos i like em

I hope they resolve the seatstay cracking issues
