I'm probably asking for trouble saying this - but my encounter with this was at a gig Christine Collister did when she was out touring with Howard Lees and Rory Macfarlane, I think in about 1994 - it was the last encore. I've been looking for the song ever since...
Any Trouble was one of the best bands around and Clive's songs are irreplaceable. His voice is still as great as ever. I wish he would tour the US. Thanks so much for posting.
Clive this takes me straight back to 1983 when I think this almost made the top 40.
I remember it being played on Radio 1 a few times that year, in the summer of '83
A brilliant AOR song, a perfect radio record, it should be re-released . I do open mic acoustic nights and I really want to work this into my set one day!
