im having trouble with a few 8.4v batteries in this gun, is it ok to use 9.6v (keeping in mind i use lo caps) so i would only use a burst if i have to?
@julian23561 Yes, it accepts it. Nearly all the Parts are made after Tokio Marui Gearboxes, thats why most guns are labeled "Tokio Marui Compatible", so that they can use Upgrades for TM Guns.
Its like that because TM was the first Company to offer AEGs, and the Gearboxes are their Design. But sometimes, i think what Tokio Marui has thought by designing it that way...
everybody knows TM guns will last a life if never opened and modified.
But really, 80m/s after some breaking in?
In Italy we got 99m/s restriction (w .20) and marui guns don't ever reach that velocity.
They are made of crap so if you upgrade them you're going to break something.
with the price of this g36, I'd rather buy and upgrade (or downgrade...) two chinese rifles, or buy a classic army g36, which is not made of that horrid plastic.
That is my whole take on TM's when I try to defend KWA, G&P, G&G a bit, CA, and other high grade brands. The problem for me is the price with no polymer. Like wow 495 from redwolf w/o honh kond shipping so in reality 565 shipped and abs plastic gay. Supposedly the ABS is pretty nice on TM and everybody knows they will last forever stock. I can tell you though the gb can handle a bit of a higher fps spring with no other modification and it will last just as long. This should be cheaper and
i got an electric airsoft pistol today and its not shooting right it shoots once then makes a sound like a gear is spinning really fast inside would taking it apart help? please REPLY!!!!!!
So you can strip your piston faster. whore ray! Also, seriously TM. Start using polymer before charging so much. Even China uses better externals than TM.
There is a differnce though Jarek cause China doesn't have QC and the ABS is nice on TM but, the price is fucking rediculous and I can't buy this unless it had polymer externals and was less money say in the 350 dollar range. Even at that its a bit expensive but, when you start comparing it at that price and with polymer to other high grade brands TM has the better QC and will last so long stock with 285 fps just doesn't cut it. DO you agree with me that TM should give up if they are gonna
Lol TM introducing their new "high cycle" series which shoots like 23 rounds a second at only 280 fps. Its pretty sad that KWA's can almost do this with a Li-Po but, at 430 fps. It just makes me laugh that high cycle isn't stock on Maruis it's like every little thing they charge extra or is special to them. Kwa's out perform them so much and they come stock much better no need to get a special model.
They rly should no one rly buys them and what would you do if your plastic piston broke how do you get a new one and they are way too expensive i got a star dragon and would rather have that they are out performed by alot of other companies
@Jarek4 I couldn't disagree more. I've used JG's G36k before and it is a mess. I'd rather pay for a tokyo marui g36k and upgrade it to 350 fps than having to buy a $150
g36k from jg thats 350 fps 5 times cuz it keeps on breaking.
charge that miuch and have ABS bodies? As well as the recoil shock being a nice feature but, it should have more recoil and I'm sure they could easily do that.
I bet this blowback mechanism will be great disappointment. Similar type of blowback has been tried in G&G L85 series and copied by army armament, both guns famous for their problems. And second greatest problem of theese guns was EBB which destroys piston relatively fast.
TM should realy reconsider build materials of their guns instead of adding blowback.
Shiny plastic looks very ugly and outdated, especialy then even chineese do better for a fraction of cost.
gears withstands in stock about 50000 rounds and after that noise will notably increase. And with blowback action number of shots will be significatly decrease. I hope some chineese manufactor will some day release clone of TM ebb with better build material and much lower price. Which will be playable after few fixes (as usualy acm)
I've seen stock tm gears last for 6 years of normal use (not just in the closet) and still running just fine. If they strip after 50000 shots too powerful battery is used or somethin else causes the gears to strip.
Yes, sometimes TM lasts long. In Finland 50000 shots equals about 2 years for average player with only one primary weapon. I know that nordic conditions puts some more stress on mechanics. Especialy when extra stress comes from more powerfull battery, because usual wont work very well when weather freezes bellow zero celcius.
TM build materials are amazingly weak in blizard (about -10C), for example I`ve seen TM mp5 gearbox cracking in 1000 shots. TM shiny plastic also plays sometimes tricks.
"Affect" yes, in the long run. The piston engages the weight only when winding back but not when it moves forward so the recoil mechanism does not affect power.
That said, the added resistance on the wind back does but a bit more stress on the gears and motor; this is not an issue in the stock gun but it does mean that users should be mindful of the extra strain if they are planning mods.
But the gun is great out of the box, so why would you want to mod it anyway? :P
Well, FPS isn't everything but if you're keen to upgrade the power it does take regular Marui AEG springs and long type motor so changing up to a higher spring and higher torque motor is possible.
As we have said though, be aware that the blowback mechanism does put extra strain on the gears already. Also, keep in mind that the recoil weight returns under its own spring so a ROF that is too high may mistreat the blow back cycle.
@iamtheflu RiotSC has some CNC gears for the Marui, they can hold up to M210 springs, far, far beyond what any TM shell could take....so just upgrade, relability is not an issure anymore :)
@redwolfairsoft Hey Guys I REALLY NEED SOME HELP Logging on to my Account If I give you some personnal info or help me Call Your store because I really wanna buy some stuff from you guys and my Login always fails because I forgot what my account was actually please help me
Seems like have the camera still for this sort of thing helps out a lot better, makes the overall look much cleaner when disassembling since people do follow along when given the chance.

Disapointing to see that marui didnt use the ingenious pneumatic recoil engine but the piston stripper type instead in this module.

The pneumatic blowback engine is only good for moving tiny bolt carrier-lookalike plates, it would not be sufficient to move 300g of aluminium.
