The way I improved my quant score was by doing 8 CATs (two of which were free on the MBA.com official site). The trick is to know when to skip questions. You can also save time on some of the Data Sufficiency questions. Final score: 750.
I just took it a month ago - i studied a lot of word problems, but the test had mostly data sufficiency - i was really surprised. So know your ds head on.
