I'm wondering what you think of the recent influx of "you can't be agnostic" video's.

According to my current level of understanding, apart from logic, is that you cannot have a belief of something and a knowledge of it at the same time. I look at belief as having faith that "something is so" prior to having enough evidence to convince oneself/others that it is indeed so. Conversely that knowledge is having that evidence and being convinced.
You cant believe something, if you can prove it 100%, for you would know it

OMG. I looked up Brett D Keane in Missouri public records and saw a whole bunch of abuse cases against this author. My friend sent me an email telling me and I didn't believe him til I found it myself at "missouri courts public records casenet search website". They involve what appears to be his wife and his own mother. Google it like I did.

Atheism and theism are the opposite, complementary extremes of anthropocentrism.
How ironic is it that they fight each other so vehemently, when in actuality they share the same fundamental philosophy: "I know what's going on here."

I really like this video. I was an atheist, but I was bordering on agnosticism... But now I'm more agnostic. Agnosticism is the more honest position, even if I'd prefer atheism.
To believe and follow is easier than to question and find answers.A book that contains son of god in it and a virgin mother holds answers,really don't you see how the rest of us do conclude the followers are gullible and so easily convinced.That is the reason so many evangelists clutter our airways seeking control of yr mind and money.And is so egotistic that he'd ask you to pray to him,if he is so great he wouldn't need yr asurances,its implied.
In my humble opinion any God who would stand around and let the degree of suffering that occurs on this planet every day continue without some meaningful intervention, is not worthy of worship. To me, it is incredibly selfish and nieve to pray for the favor of a diety when so many others are in so much more dire straits. I cannot bear to pray, it seems so selfish.
Thats interesting I think the same way about prayer, cant think of any reason why I should get spared instead of the next guy. I have low expectations about the state the world though. Thanks for the comment
