One of the people on the Stern show said something. He said "A lot of people listening don't know who Judy Garland is and they are laughing their asses off....ha ha ha".

It is so true that Judy was in a class of her own. She was a cash cow for Louis B Mayer. Judy WAS MGM. Mayer dragged her back to work from her rehab stint too soon and it all became for nought. She was an extremely sensitive artist that those animals at MGM exploited over and over. I hope she is having the last laugh in heaven. She is very deserving. Maybe Mayer is rotting in hell.

The great thing about performers like Garland and Brando is that they made people feel more human about being themselves. No matter how famous Howard Stern is now, after he dies he will not be remembered. Too many people can do what he does. He's just a radio talk show guy. Garlands legend will go on.

All I can say is that this is very, very sad. First, because we see Judy like this, and secondly, because the Stern gang actually think it's funny. This is more of a negative commentary on them then it is on Judy. I never realized how angry she was. She was so good as Dorothy. I pray that Judy (Frances Gumm) Garland is in a better place now.

Well said, Shepherdess. How can people make fun of such talent? She was angry, and just imagine how much she had been through. All the lies in the tabloids about her, people didn't listen to her, it was awful. So just keep on being immature. She'd really appreciate that.
